MediaTek Genio 510 empowers smart retail, industrial, factory automation
This week, MediaTek, a global leader in fabless semiconductors, will be joining several companies exhibiting at Embedded World 2024, held in Nuremberg. At the show, we are showcasing our latest developments in the IoT space and discussing how these MediaTek-powered technologies benefit a wide range of market segments.
Among our demos, we will be highlighting the MediaTek Genio 510 SoC, which is now available. The Genio 510 will provide mainstream IoT applications with a high-efficiency solution in AI performance, CPU and graphics, 4K display, and rich IO, as well as 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Since the Genio 510 is pin-compatible with the Genio 700 chips, product developers now have greater flexibility to diversify and segment their designs for different markets, while avoiding the cost of a redesign.
The MediaTek Genio 510 is ideal for a wide range of applications, including smart home displays, point of sale (PoS) devices, kiosks, digital menus and table service displays, and various advertising and public domain HMI applications. Industrial HMI includes ruggedized tablets for commercial and industrial vehicles, factory automation, EV charging infrastructure, healthcare, marine navigation, smart agriculture, transportation, warehousing, and logistics.
