Meizu V8 and V8 Pro powered by MediaTek
Both the Meizu 8 and Meizu V8 Pro are affordable yet large, 5.7-inch smartphones packing MediaTek at the heart.
Firstly, the tastier ‘Pro is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P22 – with a 2GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and MediaTek NeuroPilot for efficient Edge-AI processing, it’s paired with a large 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. Users can enjoy dual camera photography with bokeh styled images from the 12+5MP arrangement at the back, while at the front a 5MP selfie camera supports AI-enhanced Face AE (auto-exposure) and an AI-powered face unlock for security and convenience. Alternatively, nestled under the cameras at the back there’s a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone too.
Meanwhile, the V8 is powered by an MT6739 quad-core chipset and paired to 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage. It includes the same 5MP front facing camera with face unlock function, but at the rear camera there’s a single 13MP shooter instead.
With a modern 18:9 tall display ratio the 5.7-inch HD+ display on both models caters to those looking for larger devices with more screen space, allowing users more room to enjoy videos and games, or simply being able to see more in apps to get more productive.
The Meizu V8 is available in either black or white color options, while the Meizu V8 Pro offers an alternative black and gold.
