Global technology leader Xiaomi unveiled a stellar list of smart products during its 2021 New Product Launch today, further expanding its wearable and home entertainment offerings. Built on its Smartphone x AIoT strategy, Xiaomi is thrilled to present Mi Smart Band 6, the latest edition of its best-selling wearable product line, to both China and global audiences. The brand also brought a brand-new home entertainment addition to its prolific global ecosystem product catalog – Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro.
FHD Resolution Coupled With High Brightness and HDR10 Support: The newly announced Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro features outstanding 1920 x 1080 FHD picture quality with an adjustable 60” to 120’’ screen size. To simulate a true cinema environment at home, Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro sports a 0.47” DMD chip to reach a maximum brightness of 1300 ANSI lumens. The visuals are further elevated with HDR10 support delivering a high contrast ratio and crisp colors for captivating viewing.
10W Speaker With DTS-HD and Dolby Audio™ Support: Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro comes with built-in 10W speakers using dual tweeters and dual full-range woofers. With the addition of DTS-HD and Dolby Audio™ support, the projector delivers crystal clear audio quality across all audio sources. The projector can also be used as a standalone speaker by enabling seamless connection to an audio source via Bluetooth.
Omni-directional Autofocus and Senseless Instant Autofocus: To take the fastidious job of positioning the screen out of the user’s hands, Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro performs Omni-directional keystone correction, which automatically aligns the screen dimensions to form a perfect rectangle on the wall from any directions within 40 degrees, without any distortion. With ToF sensor and camera focus capabilities, the device also automatically brings the picture into sharp focus in as little as 2 seconds.
The New Center of a Smart Home: Running on the certified Android TV™operating system, Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro offers an endless array of viewing content, games, and applications, delivered through a user interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. Netflix is pre-installed and viewers can easily cast their own content using Chromecast. With built-in Google Assistant, viewers can not only switch between shows using just their voice, but also control connected smart devices, unlocking a seamless smart home experience through this new type of smart home hub.
Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro will be sold at a recommended retail price of EUR 999, and early pricing from EUR 899.
