The MINISFORUM M2 Pro is here, bringing Intel’s latest Panther Lake platform to the desktop in a compact mini PC designed for users who want serious computing performance, local AI capabilities, high-speed connectivity and plenty of expansion potential. At the heart of the M2 Pro is the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, paired with an Intel Arc B390 GPU, 32GB of high-speed LPDDR5X memory and a platform AI performance figure of up to 180 TOPS. MINISFORUM positions the machine not simply as another mini PC, but as a compact workstation capable of handling local AI, content creation, development, virtualization, high-speed storage and even gaming.
AI is one of the main attractions. The M2 Pro can deliver up to 180 TOPS of AI performance. The Arc B390 contributes 122 TOPS. The NPU adds another 50 TOPS. This makes the M2 Pro an interesting platform for running AI applications locally.
Graphics are handled by the Intel Arc B390. It features 12 Xe3 cores and modern ray-tracing capabilities. It also supports Intel XeSS technology. The system can handle demanding multimedia workloads and modern games at appropriate settings.
The M2 Pro comes with LPDDR5X memory running at up to 7467 MT/s. Storage is highly expandable. There are three M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs. Total storage can reach up to 24TB.
Connectivity is another major highlight. You get three USB4 ports with 40Gbps bandwidth. They support DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode. The system can drive up to four displays. HDMI 2.1 supports resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz.
Networking is equally impressive. The M2 Pro includes 10GbE and 2.5GbE Ethernet. It also brings Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. This makes it suitable for fast network storage, home labs, professional workflows and demanding connected environments.
The design remains compact. The M2 Pro measures approximately 195 × 195 × 47.5mm. It can sit on a desk or be positioned vertically. Despite its small size, MINISFORUM has created a system with workstation-level ambitions.
For China Gadgets Reviews, the M2 Pro is particularly interesting because of its new Panther Lake platform and local AI capabilities. We would love to test the MINISFORUM M2 Pro in the CGR Redaction. We want to see what the Core Ultra X7 358H and Arc B390 can really deliver in real-world use. We would also like to test gaming, thermals, noise, SSD performance, 10GbE networking and local AI applications.
The MINISFORUM M2 Pro is a compact desktop with big ambitions. Up to 180 TOPS of AI performance, Intel Arc graphics, USB4, 10GbE and Wi-Fi 7 make it one of the most interesting new mini PCs to watch.
