New Samsung Galaxy A40s, A60 and A70 Triple cameras for all
Samsung continues to plague the phone market within its Galaxy A line, a line that has passed in this generation from one to two digits and absorbing phones from the missing Galaxy J line. A new roof for both ranges and comprising from the Galaxy A20e, the most economical presented until now, to the Galaxy A90 that has not yet been presented.
The last ones to arrive belong to both the middle and the economic line but they have characteristics in common. The Samsung Galaxy A60 and Samsung Galaxy A40s are already official, and the two mount a triple camera on their backs. But the best thing to do is to review the characteristics of each one of them.
Samsung Galaxy A40s, the small also has triple camera
We closed with the Samsung Galaxy A40s, the small of the two models presented. Small in power, because it equips a Super AMOLED panel of 6.4 inches with resolution FullHD + and with a higher cut in the form of a drop of water. This clipping is responsible for hosting the 16 megapixel front-camera phone, which also has no front-flash support. The processor chosen for this Galaxy A40s is the Exynos 7904 that we have seen in other economic models of the manufacturer, and here is accompanied with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Again a unique model and no mention of the microSD. In the battery, nothing more and nothing less than 5,000 mAh with fast load of 15W, which should offer us at least two days of autonomy without too many problems.
Again we stumbled upon a fingerprint sensor on the back, and again with a triple camera, although here we lower the performance. The Galaxy A40s offers 13 megapixel main camera, 5 megapixel secondary camera and another 5 megapixels in the tertiary. As in the Galaxy A60, we expect super wide angle in one of the lenses. In addition to everything counted, the phone has 4G connectivity, with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and also with the aforementioned headphone jack for those who still deny the Bluetooth or the converters for the USB port type C, which also mounts. Here we do have speaker located at the bottom, unlike the Screen Cast of the Galaxy A60.
Samsung Galaxy A60, perforated screen to hear music
The Samsung Galaxy A60 is placed in this presentation as the older brother of the pair presented, the most powerful phone of the Korean dance duo. For the screen, Samsung has opted for an LCD, moving away from its traditional Super AMOLED, although it places a hole in its 6.3 inches to hide the front camera, which in this case is 32 megapixels and has no accompanying flash. To move the phone, the chosen one is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, eight cores accompanied by 6GB of RAM as a single model, and by 128GB of internal storage in the same situation. There are no references to any microSD tray, unfortunately. And in the feed, 3,400 mAh with fast charge but without specifying its maximum load speed.
The strong point of this Galaxy A60 reaches its back, where the phone mounts the fingerprint reader and where it places its triple camera. A camera with three 32, 8 and 5 megapixel sensors that have a LED flash as support, apart from all the classic software additions on Samsung cameras. Of course, we look forward to portrait mode and that one of the cameras contributes the super wide angle to expand the range to be photographed. The phone arrives with USB port type C charging and the traditional 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi and so on, as well as having the 3.5 mm headphone jack that many users were waiting for. The phone does not have an external speaker because it uses the screen to emit sound, the Screen Cast that we have seen before.
Samsung Galaxy A70, the Giant
Also in TEENa we have his older brother, whose characteristics coincide almost point by point with the previous leaks of the Samsung Galaxy A60. It is therefore possible that the filtering was wrong model or that Samsung has changed the numbering. This is, for now, the series A giant. Direct from TENAa we have the diagonal of its screen, 6.7 inches, as well as its dimensions: 164.2 x 76.7 x 7.9 mm. It’s bigger than a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and would include a 4,400 mAh battery.
The photo reveals a drop-shaped notch, as well as a triple configuration for the rear camera (perhaps 32 + 5 + 8 MP). The fact that there is no apparent fingerprint reader indicates that biometrics are probably under the screen. I know it’s hard to track with so much model, so here’s a summary with the Samsung Galaxy to which we have news so far. The data marked with an asterisk are based on leaks.
