Newsmay V2-N100-2C2LG – Pocket-Sized Power for the Edge
Introducing Newsmay V2-N100-2C2LG, the smallest industrial PC ever engineered by its maker, measuring just 145 × 127.5 × 34 mm — smaller than most notebooks, yet packing a serious punch. Designed with 100% passive cooling around Intel’s ultra-efficient N100 processor (6W TDP), this fanless powerhouse guarantees silent, reliable 24/7 operation across a wide temperature range (-20°C to 60°C), making it ideal for noise-sensitive and harsh industrial environments.
Don’t be fooled by its compact footprint. Despite its pocket-sized dimensions, the V2-N100-2C2LG delivers comprehensive industrial-grade connectivity and multi-display support:
– 2× RS-232 ports enable seamless integration with legacy PLCs and sensors without additional adapters.
– 2× 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports provide high-speed network backbone capabilities perfect for IP cameras, OPC-UA protocol, or redundant network setups.
– Triple 4K display outputs (dual DisplayPort 1.4 + HDMI 2.0), all independent and running at 60Hz, empower complex multi-monitor configurations—essential for factory monitoring, retail POS, or control dashboards.
– A robust set of 5 USB-A and 1 USB-C ports support diverse peripherals, data transfer, and expansions.
– Mounting options include both VESA and DIN-rail compatibility, allowing effortless deployment inside kiosks, robot arms, OEM enclosures, or digital signage pillars.
This mini industrial PC is already making waves by:
– Replacing bulky 3-liter fan-cooled boxes on noisy factory floors with silent, reliable fanless operation.
– Driving three crisp 4K screens simultaneously at retail points of sale without requiring a discrete GPU.
– Running lightweight and robust operating systems such as Ubuntu or VMware ESXi to serve as micro-gateways connecting edge devices to the cloud.
Efficiency and Reliability at the Edge
Equipped with the Intel N100 processor, known for its excellent power efficiency and balanced performance, this mini PC maintains a low thermal profile without any moving parts. That means minimal maintenance, zero fan noise, and significantly reduced risk of failure in dust-prone or vibration-heavy industrial settings. The wide thermal tolerance and passive cooling design enhance its durability in 24/7 operations, supporting mission-critical workloads at the edge.
Expand Possibilities, Not Size
The V2-N100-2C2LG redefines what an industrial PC can be: ultra-compact, whisper-quiet, and connectivity-rich, all while delivering robust computing power at the edge. It invites engineers and system integrators to rethink hardware deployment—shrinking the physical footprint of their solutions and growing possibilities for intelligent automation, digital signage, industrial IoT, and beyond. In a world where space, noise, and reliability are at a premium, this tiny workhorse delivers uncompromised performance without sacrifice. The future of industrial computing has never been this small or silent.
