Official Annoucement the Blackview BV9800 Series
On October 18, Blackview launched its latest world-class rugged phones on Kickstarter called the Blackview BV9800/BV9800 Pro (BV9800 Series). Seven days after its debut, it has attracted more than 800 backers, who have helped fund over $340,000, 2680% over expected funding. This number reveals the popularity of BV9800/BV9800 Pro. Consumers are clearly looking for a super-rugged, multi-functional smartphone, ideal for the outdoors, with integrated high-end cameras.
For rugged phone lovers, the Blackview BV9800 Pro/BV9800 are special. They both sport a Sony® 48MP camera, hardly found on other rugged phones today. The BV9800 Pro sports two other cameras, a FLIR® Lepton® thermal imaging camera and a 5MP camera to provide FLIR MSX®, which lets users see and measure heat. This function is very useful for outdoor adventures. The BV9800 has a 120° ultra-wide 16MP camera for the landscape photos and macro shots, and a 5MP depth camera for the bokeh effect, which is normally available for professional photographers.
The key difference between the BV9800 Pro and the BV9800 are the camera features. Both phones are IP68 & IP69K & MIL-STD-810G certified, ensuring they can survive tough, challenging environments, either on construction sites, farms or extreme, outdoor environments. Besides, they are equipped with GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou for ultra-precise navigation, and they have a 6580mAh battery for extended operation.
The devices include global LTE support and function and will work globally across time zones and with most international and local wireless carriers.
The phones are packed with top of the line components, including a potent MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which allows it to compete against other much more expensive rugged smartphones.
