UMIDIGI S2 Lite Official overview & Antutu Test
UMIDIGI S2 Lite is the latest smartphone launched by the UMIDIGI in its efforts to make its mark in the affordable smartphone segment. We’ve had a chance to play around with it for a short while, and here are our UMIDIGI S2 Lite first impression.
The full screen is of course the main highlight here. UMIDIGI S2 Lite goes with an 18:9 display, too, harboring Corning Gorilla Glass 4 at 6 inches, possessing thin borders on the top and bottom of the screen gives the phone a very good aesthetic appeal. UMIDIGI S2 Lite offers a 1440*720 Pixels resolution, which in reality, looks sharp and doesn’t cause any noticeable jaggedness around text. On the contrary, it gives an immersive visual experience!
What we really like about the UMIDIGI S2 Lite (and we’re sure you will, too) is its full metal unibody and it’s really light. At just 186g, which is hard when a phone has a 5100mAh long lasting battery, we barely noticed when we had it in our pocket. There is no doubt that the big battery capacity could give you a two-day lasting battery life!
UMIDIGI has fitted rear 16MP+5MP Dual-lens High-resolution Camera with 5MP Front Camera. The sensor provider is from Omnivision, there should be a strong expectation for a new shot experience.The dual-lens camera could let you perform tricks like adding bokeh effects when shooting with either set of cameras.
The reflective metal back looks really sexy. The sides are made of a whole piece of aluminium. By applying the New Antenna Design, the phone looks shining, and won’t easily get slippery.
The screen also has a very good level of brightness, which is something we noticed immediately. Colours are punchy, and viewing angles look pretty solid too. The notification in UMIDIGI S2 Lite is well done, the breathing light supports 3 different colors, which gives users a possibility to customize their own notification manager.
Face ID on UMIDIGI S2 lite is really fast and safety, this time UMIDIGI applied 2nd generation facial recognition technology, which supports Bioassay system. It scans multiple areas of your face, and unlocks after identifying only your very own biological facial features. You can’t unlock UMIDIGI S2 Lite via photos or any movies.
On top of that, since UMIDIGI S2 Lite applied latest stock Android(plan update to Android 8.1), and has the MTK MT6750T CPU, 4GB RAM, it runs really fast. Here we got a benchmark result, in the new version Antutu, UMIDIGI S2 Lite got a score of 58850 points.These two features make playing games in S2 Lite a pleasant journey.
