OPPO Reno 2Z launches powered by Mediatek Helio P90
The OPPO Reno 2Z is powered by the AI-performance behemoth, MediaTek Helio P90 processor. This camera-focused smartphone packs quad-cameras at the back and a pop-up selfie-snapper for the front.
Those rear cameras include a premium 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, 8MP with wide-angle 119º lens, 2MP mono camera to boost HDR sensitivity and another 2MP depth sensor for assisting portrait pics. These are supported by a fast and efficient triple-ISP design inside the P90 that enables 48MP capture at up to 30FPS with zero delay (ZSD).
The selfie pop-up camera leaves the 6.53-inch FullHD+ display with an impressive 91.6% screen-to-body ratio and 394 PPI. OPPO packs in a generous 8GB of fast LPDDR4x memory and 256GB storage, with a microSD card slot capable of doubling that storage capacity (+256GB).
The MediaTek Helio P90 octa-core processor pumps performance up to 2.2GHz, and offers great gaming experiences with its IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU graphics. The P90 also includes the most powerful AI processor in its class; it can generate an incredible 1165GMACs performance, enabling smartphones like the Reno 2Z to defy expectations.
All-important dual 4G SIM is present giving operator choice and a consistent user experience from either connection, while dual VoLTE means considerably better call quality.
The OPPO Reno 2Z includes a large 4,000mAh battery plus VOOC 3.0 (20W) flash charging over its USB-C port. Other features include the popular headphone jack and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
