Recapping a wonderful IFA 2019 with EZCast
IFA is one of the biggest consumer electronics exhibitions in Europe, an event which rivals the CES exhibition in US. It is an event where big brands meet face to face with their customers, and learn the excitements of the consumers, as they see and touch new technology for the first time.
Visitors are able to make intimate connections with their favorite brands and catch a glimpse of what the future of the technology holds. IFA 2019 marks the third year in the row that EZCast has exhibited at IFA, an indication of the bankability and strength of the EZCast brand. This time, EZCast brought to IFA 2019 the complete suite of wireless display solutions for the home entertainment, enterprise, education, and projector markets.
Add 4K entertainment to your home with EZCast Ultra
As consumers demand more vivid and immersive media contents, we have developed the technology to deliver wireless media in 4K HDR from your smart devices to your TVs. EZCast Ultra wireless receiver made the first worldwide appearance during IFA this week, and demonstrated the power of sharing 4K HDR videos across wireless networks, at 60 frames per second. Another great feature that received a lot of attention by the visitors was the voice control feature.
EZCast Ultra is compatible with most popular smart speakers on the market, such as Google Home and Alexa Echo, so users can enjoy a smart living room experience by voice search and play online videos via the speakers and EZCast.
Use MagicEther to upgrade your router into a home entertainment unit
MagicEther also made a debut at IFA exhibition this year, with a first of its kind configuration that supports Ethernet connection from a router. The result is faster setup, more stable connection, and transforms a home router into a wireless display receiver. Visitors to our booth labeled MagicEther “a great innovation”, with a customer coming back to our booth, full of praise, one day after procuring a sample.
MagicLink also made an appearance at IFA for the first time, and demonstrated two ways to connect your smart devices to big screens. MagicLink can work as a USB to HDMI adapter cable between a laptop and HDTV, or work as a wireless display receiver when connected between a router and HDTV. It is a great way to upgrade your routers into a home entertainment unit.
QuattroPod for improving meeting productivity
Through continued efforts from our sales team and the strengths of our technology, QuattroPod has established a strong base of distribution networks in Europe. QuattroPod’s enterprise-level security, cross-platform compatibility and ease-of-use make it a great addition to any meeting room.
QuattroPod allows a presenter to use any smart device, whether powered by Windows, macOS, iOS or Android, to make wireless presentations instantly with a simple click. USB, HDMI and Display Port interfaces are used to support all the popular OS, making it a true BYOD workplace enabler. POE and Ethernet supports allow the QuattroPod transmitter to be powered and linked via LAN, for a more stable presentation experience.
Many business audiovisual experts visited our booth to learn about the latest QuattroPod Mini transmitter, which strips away some less commonly used ports, such as Display Port and Ethernet, in exchange for greater portability. Visitors praised the cross-platform compatibilities and product design of QuattroPod as great drivers to create BYOD offices.
EZCast Pro to improve student engagement in classrooms
EZCast Pro’s latest innovation, EZCast Pro II dongle, is designed to make teachers’ more effective in classrooms. IFA attendees were amazed at the multi-screen feature offered by EZCast Pro II and ProCast app, where lecturers can broadcast contents from a laptop to multiple monitors and projectors in realtime. The companion EZCast Pro app also features multiple productivity tools, such as EZNote, to enable better student engagement and knowledge retention. We were able to speak to many education experts about how EZCast Pro II dongles can revolutionize classrooms around Europe.
EZCast Beam J2 is a screen mirroring projector perfect for both leisure and work
Unlike most projectors on the market today, EZCast Beam J2 and V2 are designed to work perfectly with both smartphones and laptops. A number of IFA visitors were especially impressed with the plug and play mirroring of EZCast Beam J2, and spent a lot of time playing mobile games connected to J2.
The massive 9000 mAh battery pack, and 300 ANSI Lumen DLP technology on EZCast Beam J2 impressed experts within the commercial sector, and they saw great value in using J2 for business presentations in impromptu meetings in restaurants and cafes.
Overall, we had a great time sharing the best of EZCast technologies in IFA, and we hope to visit again next year.
