The Redmi Note 9 launches featuring the latest MediaTek Helio G85 chip inside.
The new G85 features a GPU with peak speeds of 1GHz, plus an octa-core CPU and two ‘big’ Arm cores within clocked up to 2GHz, boosting performance. Redmi claims 32% faster GPU and 22% faster CPU than its previous Note 8.
MediaTek HyperEngine gives whole-smartphone enhancements for sustainable performance, reliable and low-latency networking, rapid response touchscreens and vivid visuals.
This 6.53-inch smartphone has an all-coverage FullHD+ resolution ‘DotDisplay’ with dot cut-out for the 13MP selfie camera. The display features TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification and Redmi adds Gorilla Glass 5 on top for supreme scratch protection.
At the back, the four camera setup has a 48MP main camera, an 8MP 118-degree ultrawide lens, a macro camera and another dedicated for depth sensing. A fingerprint scanner sits below the cameras.
The Redmi Note 9 is offered with 3/64GB or 4/128GB memory and storage options and boasts an exceptional 5,000mAh battery, and ships with Android 10 OS. Choose from green, grey and white color options and has a ‘splash-proof nano coating’ that goes through a 30-strage manufacturing process.
