Rugged Bluboo R1 uses the Same Wireless Charging Technology as Samsung Devices
Wireless charging is especially useful when you are on the go, and of course when you don’t have time to put down your things to dig through the tangle of cables and connectors in search of the charging cable on your desk.
Previously we’ve reported that the upcoming rugged BLUBOO R1 would be the first rugged smartphone supported wireless charging, and today we get a video showing the details.
Say goodbye to tangled wires and lost charging cables. The BLUBOO wireless charging pad utilizes Qi inductive charging technology, same as the Samsung wireless charging pad does, which eliminates the need to attach a charging cable every time you want to charge your device. With output voltage ranging from 5v to 9v and 2A output current, it takes 5 hours to get the R1 fully charged. That’s quite fast, taking the 7150mAh battery capacity into account.
