RugOne Xlink 7 AI-Powered 4G Walkie Talkie Launches @ Kickstarter
Pocket-Sized Communication Without Compromise
One of the most impressive aspects of the Xlink 7 is its incredibly compact form factor. Weighing just 84 grams, the device is roughly the size of an earbud charging case, making it easy to carry in a pocket, attach to gear, or mount directly on equipment. Unlike traditional radios that add noticeable bulk, the Xlink 7 is designed to disappear into your kit while remaining instantly accessible whenever communication is needed. Available in multiple distinctive finishes, including a sleek matte-black version with vibrant orange accents and a premium desert-inspired colorway influenced by China’s Badain Jaran Desert, the device balances rugged utility with modern aesthetics.
Built Tough for Extreme Conditions
Outdoor communication devices need to withstand far more than everyday use, and RugOne has clearly engineered the Xlink 7 with durability as a priority. The device features IP68 and IP69K water and dust resistance alongside MIL-STD-810H certification, enabling it to survive harsh weather, accidental drops, mud, rain, and demanding outdoor environments. Temperature resistance is equally impressive. The battery system is designed to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 55°C, allowing the Xlink 7 to remain functional whether you’re tackling winter mountain expeditions or summer desert adventures. An integrated high-intensity TorchX flashlight further enhances practicality, eliminating the need to carry a separate light source during night activities or emergency situations.
Breaking the Limits of Traditional Radios
The biggest innovation behind the Xlink 7 is its use of global 4G LTE connectivity. Unlike conventional walkie talkies that are restricted by radio transmission distance, the Xlink 7 leverages cellular networks to provide communication across cities, countries, and even continents. As long as network coverage is available, team members can stay connected regardless of physical distance. This effectively transforms the device from a short-range radio into a global communication tool capable of supporting outdoor expeditions, fleet management, event coordination, and remote team operations.
Real-Time Team Communication
The Xlink 7 introduces a more natural communication experience through its real-time group chat functionality. Supporting simultaneous voice communication between up to three devices, users can converse naturally without the stop-and-start limitations typically associated with traditional push-to-talk radios. For active sports such as cycling, skiing, climbing, or trail running, this creates a much more fluid team communication experience, allowing participants to focus on the activity rather than managing radio controls. The included Bluetooth Wireless PTT Remote Ring makes communication even easier. Mounted on a finger, bicycle handlebar, or equipment strap, it provides instant access to communication controls without requiring users to reach for the main device.
AI-Powered Audio Clarity
Outdoor communication often suffers from wind noise, engine sounds, traffic, or environmental interference. To address this challenge, RugOne has equipped the Xlink 7 with dedicated hardware noise processing combined with AI-powered noise cancellation technology. The system intelligently filters background distractions while enhancing voice clarity, helping conversations remain understandable even in high-speed or high-noise environments. Whether riding motorcycles, cycling downhill, operating machinery, or navigating crowded urban areas, users can expect clearer voice transmission than conventional radio solutions.
Smart Features Beyond Communication
The Xlink 7 goes beyond voice communication by integrating modern smart capabilities. A dedicated one-key AI voice assistant provides hands-free access to information and controls, allowing users to check weather conditions, manage device functions, and interact with intelligent voice services while remaining focused on the task at hand. The Voice Recall feature offers another practical advantage by allowing users to instantly replay the most recent voice message. This simple addition can prove invaluable when critical instructions or navigation details need to be reviewed.
Advanced Positioning and Emergency Protection
Safety remains a major focus throughout the Xlink 7 design. The device combines GPS, Beidou, and GLONASS satellite positioning systems to provide fast and reliable location tracking across diverse environments. In emergency situations, the built-in SOS system can be activated with five rapid presses of the Action Button. Once triggered, the device sounds an alarm, contacts designated emergency contacts, and shares live GPS location information through the companion app. For solo adventurers, remote workers, and outdoor enthusiasts exploring challenging terrain, this feature adds an important layer of personal security.
Designed for Sports, Work, and Emergency Response
While outdoor recreation is a natural fit for the Xlink 7, its capabilities extend well beyond sports. The device is equally suited for transportation fleets, construction teams, security personnel, event organizers, emergency response units, and industrial field operations that require dependable communication across large geographic areas. Its combination of unlimited LTE communication range, rugged construction, AI-enhanced audio, GPS tracking, and emergency alert functionality creates a versatile solution capable of replacing traditional radios in many professional environments.
Kickstarter Launch
The RugOne Xlink 7 represents a compelling evolution of the walkie talkie concept, blending the simplicity of push-to-talk communication with modern AI features, satellite positioning, and global 4G connectivity. For backers seeking a lightweight yet powerful communication device capable of keeping teams connected across virtually unlimited distances, the Xlink 7 stands out as one of the more innovative communication gadgets currently available on Kickstarter. With its compact design, rugged construction, intelligent noise cancellation, integrated safety tools, and worldwide LTE reach, the RugOne Xlink 7 is positioned to become an essential companion for outdoor adventurers and professional teams alike. The Kickstarter campaign is now live, offering early supporters the opportunity to be among the first to experience the next generation of AI-powered communication technology.
