Samsung A80 officially released with 48MP pop-up rotating triple camera

On April 10, Samsung held a Galaxy A series new product launch event in Bangkok, Thailand. During the launch event, Samsung unveiled six new Galaxy A series products, of which the Galaxy A80 is undoubtedly the most attractive smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A80 adopts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 and a screen ratio of 20:9. It adopts New Infinity Display without notch and support photoelectric screen fingerprints.

The biggest highlight of Samsung Galaxy A80 is its camera design. It adopts an elevating triple camera design, with the front and rear cameras united as one. When the front camera is needed, it automatically pops up and rotates at the same time. The main camera adopts the 48MP Sony IMX586 with f/2.0 apertures. The second camera is the 8MP 123° ultra wide angle lens, and the third one is ToF lens.

Samsung Galaxy A80 is the world’s first phone to carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G. It is equipped with the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and a 3700 mAh battery. It supports the 25W PD fast charging and runs One UI based on Android 9.0. At the same time, the phone is equipped with its flagship Galaxy S10 series of super stable mode (referring to video recording), AI scene optimizer and “smart battery”.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy A80 is equipped with multifunctional NFC and support Samsung Pay, Bixby and Dolby panoramic sound. At present, Samsung does not disclose the price information of Galaxy A80, which is expected to be released later and the phone will be launched globally on May 29.
