SmallRig Launches the FP-60 / FP-90 Quick-Setup Folding Parabolic Softbox
A New Era in Professional Lighting. SmallRig, a brand celebrated by creatives worldwide for its innovation and precision-engineered gear, is proud to unveil its latest lighting breakthrough: the FP-60 and FP-90 Quick-Setup Folding Parabolic Softboxes. Designed for photographers, filmmakers, and content creators who demand speed without compromising quality, these next-gen softboxes redefine what on-the-go studio lighting should feel like. With a focus on mobility, reliability, and lighting excellence, the FP-60 and FP-90 are built around a revolutionary pull-and-shoot quick deployment system, allowing professionals to set up lighting gear in seconds — literally twice as fast as traditional softboxes.
🚀 What Sets the FP-60 / FP-90 Apart?
🔥 Advanced Quick Release Setup. Say goodbye to complex setups and hello to a smoother workflow. The FP series uses a next-gen quick-release design that eliminates time-consuming assembly, so you’re always ready to shoot.
🛡️ Effortless Anti-Pinch Deployment. The anti-pinch design ensures safer and more efficient setup without the risk of injury or damage, making these softboxes ideal for fast-paced shooting environments.
🌀 16-Rib Structure for Perfect Parabolic Shape. The 16 durable ribs maintain a flawless parabolic form for even, flattering light falloff — essential for beauty shots, interviews, or product photography.
📦 Compact & Foldable for Ultimate Portability. Engineered with a folding mechanism, the FP-60 and FP-90 collapse into an ultra-compact form factor. Take your studio anywhere without compromising on performance.
🌈 Dual-Layer Diffusion with Reflective Lining. The dual diffusion layers deliver beautifully soft, natural light with minimal hotspots, while the reflective inner lining maximizes light output and efficiency.
🔗 Universal Bowens Mount Compatibility. Both models support standard Bowens-mount LED lights, including SmallRig’s RC-series lights, offering creators seamless integration with their existing setups.
📸 Built for Creators Who Never Compromise
Whether you’re filming high-end interviews, shooting commercial campaigns, or running a tight schedule on set, the SmallRig FP-60 / FP-90 softboxes are the tools you’ve been waiting for. With their unmatched speed, rugged build, and studio-quality output, they bring a professional lighting experience wherever your creativity takes you.
