SMSL PA400 Gallium Nitride(GaN) Power Amplifier
SMSL has years of experience in designing premium-quality HiFi audio gear, especially in the desktop category. The latest PA400 is among the first in the industry to implement the premium GaN technology. Gallium Nitride(also known as GaN) material is more efficient and high-performing compared to the traditional silicone material, which is commonly used in such cases. GaN FETs in the PA400 operate at a blazing 1MHz switching frequency. This next-generation architecture enables the PA400 to achieve excellent performance with lightning-fast transients, vanishingly low THD+N of just 0.003%. Prepare to open up your senses with the true high-fidelity sound signal amplification by the SMSL PA400, all thanks to the latest GaN Transistors. Additionally, PA400 also features a top-notch TI PGA2311 volume controller that helps you adjust the volume with full precision and accuracy. It maintains proper channel balance with the PA400.
SMSL PA400 is a supremely powerful desktop amplifier that can be used in both stereo as well as mono modes. In stereo mode, the PA400 produces 250W per channel output at 4Ω load and 200W per channel output at 8Ω load; however, you can also use the PA400 in mono block mode by stacking two independent PA400s together and using them in mono output mode. In Mono mode, they achieve a superior output thrust of 500W at 8Ω impedance. With such an impressive output thrust, PA400 will make your high-performance passive speakers come to life in all their glory. SMSL PA400 adopts XLR and RCA inputs for seamless integration into any high-fidelity audio setup.
With a dedicated audio-grade switching power supply and robust circuit protections featuring overheating and overcurrent protections, the SMSL PA400 promises clean, stable operation. Its professionally designed power system ensures clean power delivery to all the components of the audio circuitry. SMSL PA400 also has a solid build quality. The power amplifier is made up of an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy chassis. Each component is carefully designed, such as gold-plated connectors, ventilated side panels, exquisite volume knob, slip-resistant, soft-rubber feet, etc. The SMSL PA400 GaN power amplifier is a powerhouse that packs solid performance in a compact design. Upgrade your desktop setup with the SMSL PA400 today!! SMSL has officially priced the PA400 at $555.
