Tanchjim Reveals Space Pro Portable DAC/AMP
Compared to the predecessor models in the series, the new Space Pro brings an all-new audio circuitry with a fully balanced four-channel design. It is crafted for both purist audiophiles and competitive gamers with its deep integration in the Tanchjim application. The application with the Space Pro offers extensive functions such as dedicated Game Audio Optimization, popular gaming title presets, a 10-band PEQ with community sharing, and Virtual 5.1/7.1ch surround processing as well. The Tanchjim Space Pro is a highly versatile portable DAC/AMP that packs in solid punch with high-end hardware and unlimited tuning options.
The Tanchjim Space Pro moves beyond those standard DAC/AMPs available in its price segment with a Dual DAC + Dual independent Op-Amp setup. At its core are two CS43198 flagship DAC chips paired with two ES8262 amplification chips. This fully balanced, four-channel architecture ensures an expansive soundstage and a rich, textured tonality. With a high-end audio circuitry, the Tanchjim Space Pro processes high-resolution signals up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD256 natively, it achieves a crystal clear sound output with no noticeable noise-floor even with sensitive IEMs. The DAC/AMP achieves a staggering 131dB dynamic range. You are going to enjoy your favorite music in all-new clarity with the Space Pro.
One of the Space Pro’s most impressive feats is its output capability. Delivering up to 618mW(@26Ω), it provides enough thrust to drive demanding full-sized headphones while remaining delicate enough for sensitive IEMs. It has a two-level gain mode(High/Low). Not just gain mode, the Space Pro also has switchable DAC output stage modes. There are two modes for the DAC output stage: Class AB for linear, high-fidelity sound for critical listening, and Class H mode for optimized efficiency.
This mode ensures smooth performance without a heavy load on the source’s battery. Tanchjim Space Pro has dual headphone output options; it houses a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced output port. The 3.5mm port here supports the CTIA standard in-line microphone for clear calls and in-game communication. Both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm ports work simultaneously as well. While using both the ports, the 4.4mm port delivers sound output while the 3.5mm port takes the mic input.
Tanchjim Space Pro bridges the gap between Hi-Fi and Gaming. As mentioned before, the Space Pro integrates deeply with the Tanchjim App. It features a Game Audio Optimization system where users can optimize game sounds such as Footsteps, Gunshots, etc. Users can load one-touch presets for popular titles, or they can use the extensive 10-band PEQ and adjust the output to their liking. The PEQ function also has a community sharing function, where users can download/share Presets with other users. Further deep in the application, Tanchjim Space Pro also offers Virtual 5.1/7.1ch surround processing, it helps users get an immersive spatial presentation. With all these new and extensive features, Tanchjim Space Pro brings a lot of improvements over its predecessor models.
Tanchjim Space Pro has an exquisite build quality with a CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminium alloy chassis. It is available in two variants, the standard edition has a sleek and minimalistic look while the Asano Tanch Snowfall Edition features high-precision laser engravings of Asano Tanch character for a premium, artistic look. The Space Pro has a detachable Type-C cable design. Tanchjim bundles the Space Pro with a high-quality silver-plated single-crystal copper Type-C interconnect cable. Tanchjim Space Pro is available for $99.99 for the standard edition, and $119.99 for the Asano Tanch edition.
