TCL QM9K QD Mini LED TV, Now Available in the U.S.
TCL®, one of the world’s best-selling and leading consumer electronics companies, today announced that its QM9K series is now available at Best Buy stores across the U.S. Maximizing its Halo Control System, the QM9K delivers unmatched picture quality with more dimming zones and higher peak brightness than TCL has ever achieved before. In addition, the QM9K series will be the industry’s first Google TV devices to come with Gemini.
QM9K series delivers higher contrast and improved peak brightness over previous TCL models. With more precise dimming zones, this model delivers ultimate black levels that rival OLED. The new QM9K also sets itself apart by being the first Google TV with Gemini and Ambient Display. Google TV’s Ambient Display enables the TV to wake to someone’s presence, show beautiful screensavers, control their TV, and answer questions at the sound of their voice with the help of Gemini.
TCL ULTIMATE SERIES
TCL’s new ULTIMATE SERIES includes the QM8K (The Ultimate Choice) and the QM9K (The Ultimate Performance), both featuring four Ultimate Technology Advantages – the CrystGlow WHVA Panel for an ultrawide color viewing angle, unique ZeroBorder “edge-to-edge” panel with virtually no black matrix border, ultimate dimming zone and peak brightness levels of the Halo Control System, and Gemini. These TCL series set benchmarks for picture performance, and with Gemini, mark a major milestone in the evolution of interactive TV.
The TCL Halo Control System includes Micro OD, reducing the optical distance between the backlight and diffuser plate to help virtually eliminate image blooming. In addition, the enhanced Color Optimization Algorithm with new more vibrant Quantum Crystals provides enhanced color accuracy, while the 23-bit Backlight Controller precisely controls over 65,000 levels of brightness for each LED to enhance gray scale accuracy.
Topping TCL’s QD-Mini LED lineup, the ULTIMATE SERIES offers advanced voice assistance. Gemini is able to understand conversational queries and follow-up questions based on the context, making interactions with this upgraded voice assistant more natural than ever before. Gemini on Google TV creates unprecedented content acquisition capability, with fast, accurate responses for information and even education.
The new TCL QM9K is available now at Best Buy in a 65” for $2,999.99 MSRP, 75” for $3499.99 MSRP, 85” for $3,999.99 MSRP, and 98” for $5,999.99 MSRP.
