Tempotec Variations V3 Dual AK4493SEQ Portable Audio Player
Tempotec has introduced its latest portable Hi-Res digital audio player, the Tempotec Variations V3. Tempotec is a well-recognized name in the audiophile world. The brand has made a great reputation by developing an exclusive range of portable USB DAC/AMPs. Last year, they came up with the revolutionary Variations V6, an Android-based audio player with strong amplification and ultimate decoding capabilities. The latest Tempotec Variations V3 is a compact and handy audio player which comes with an innovative new design architecture. The player adopts dual AK4493SEQ DAC chips with a customized FPGA-based Digital circuit and pyramid analog amplification circuit to deliver an impressive sound performance. Just like its elder brother Variations V6, the Variations V3 also revolutionizes the way we enjoy our music with its ultimate performance attributes. This compact device is all-mighty with a strong amp section and clear decoding section supporting 32-bit PCM, native DSD, and full MQA audio signals.
Tempotec V3 stands out with its premium dual DAC arrangement. The V3 adopts dual AK4493SEQ, the latest-gen AKM DAC chips that promise a Silky, Velvet Sound with ultimate decoding characteristics. The dual DACs are arranged together in an independent manner for each channel. Each unit of AK4493SEQ handles left and right channels independently achieving a clear performance with distortion as low as 0.0005% and high SNR performance of 124dB. Tempotec has implemented a rich FPGA-based digital circuit combined with a dual crystal oscillator for precise and accurate sound signal processing. The Tempotec V3 supports decoding for high-resolution audio signals supporting 32-bit/768kHz PCM, native DSD512, and full 16x MQA decoding. It’s a full-blown portable audio device that fits right into your pocket.
Featuring a pyramid amplification circuit for each channel, the Tempotec V3 provides a strong amplification of the sound signal. It boasts four precision circuits per channel, totaling eight amplification channels on the device. It accurately reproduces the true and natural tone and provides a powerful amplification producing 610mW from the 4.4mm output and 330mW from the 3.5mm output port. Both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs support line-out function as well. Tempotec has loaded the Variations V3 with HiByOS Operating System. It provides a silky smooth user interface with accurate sound signal processing for a true high-resolution audio experience. It also has Tidal and Qobuz streaming applications that come pre-loaded on the device for easy streaming access.
Tempotec Variations V3 supports wireless Bluetooth V5.1 connectivity with two-way operation. It supports high-resolution protocols including LDAC, AptX HD, AptX, etc. It also supports various other wireless options including the HiBy Link function with smartphones, Apple Airplay support, DLNA, etc. Tempotec has equipped the Variations V3 with a large-capacity 3500mAh battery that provides an amazing battery life for everyday usage.
