TFZ Audio is a well-known name among audiophiles for its exclusive range of in-ear monitors, featuring solid models like TFZ Live 3, TFZ No.3, etc. The brand has been out of the limelight for quite some time, but they are back with a brand new series of in-ear monitors. Introducing the TFZ STA Pro series of dual dynamic driver in-ear monitors. The series includes three models: the STA Pro, the STA Pro Max, and the STA Pro Ultra. The STA Pro here is the base variant, and the TFA STA Pro Max is the topmost variant in the series. All three models here feature an identical driver configuration housing a 10mm dual-cavity dynamic driver with a 6mm micro dynamic driver. However, each variant of the TFZ STA Pro series has a different material configuration for the drivers, resulting in different sound performance. TFZ has extensive experience in designing premium sounding in-ear monitors. For the past many years, the brand has worked with dynamic drivers to develop high-quality products. The latest STA Pro series includes a dual driver setup featuring two dynamic drivers on each side. TFZ has designed this setup with proper R&D done by an experienced team of acoustic engineers. The pair features a 10mm dual-cavity dynamic driver that delivers deep, impactful lower-end and clear, accurate midrange response. This DD unit is complemented by a 6mm micro dynamic driver as well, which handles the high frequencies and shows good extensions in that segment.
Each variant of the STA Pro series primarily has a different diaphragm material for the dynamic drivers. The base STA Pro features composite diaphragm for both the Dynamic Drivers, the STA Pro Ultra adopts high-quality graphene material for the 10mm DD unit and titanium-plated diaphragm for the 6mm DD unit, and the flagship STA Pro Max features premium LCP diaphragm for the 10mm dynamic driver and titanium-plated diaphragm for the 6mm dynamic driver here. With a different driver diaphragm, each variant has a unique sound profile. The base STA Pro sounds rich, organic, and lively, while the other two show more clarity and more details. The flagship STA Pro Max promises ultra-low distortion and high resolution across the frequency band.
With a dual-cavity dynamic driver and another micro dd unit, the STA Pro series promises deep-diving, impactful lower end and good extensions at both ends of the spectrum.
