Tourism Malaysia Partners with HONOR to Promote Visit Malaysia
HONOR, a global leading AI device ecosystem company and Tourism Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) to jointly promote Malaysia as a top travel destination ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026. Through this partnership, HONOR aims to promote Malaysia’s diverse culture and natural heritage to tourists through mobile photography initiatives.
The series of activities will include photography competitions, workshops, art exhibitions and cultural events. Among these, the HONOR Magic Moments Awards, an annual global mobile photography competition also open to Malaysians, will provide a unique platform for participants to showcase their creativity and capture the essence of Malaysia through HONOR’s innovative smartphone technology.
President of HONOR South Pacific, Justin Li said the collaboration empowers users, especially the youth to capture the unique beauty of Malaysia to the world through the lens of HONOR’s smartphones. “We are proud to support Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign by leveraging technology and innovation. We want to create new opportunities to promote Malaysia as a top travel destination, empower the nation’s youth, and foster cultural exchange. Not only tourists, Malaysians themselves will also be able to enjoy and appreciate the country’s beautiful moments and wonders captured through HONOR’s smartphones,” he said.

In addition to the collaboration, HONOR will also produce contents featuring its latest cutting-edge foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V5 to enhance tourist travel experience across the country. This content will provide valuable travel tips and creative photography ideas, all powered by the device’s advanced AI capabilities.
Features like Gemini Live Screen Sharing allow tourists to effortlessly receive real-time suggestions for attractions and navigate cities with ease. Additionally, the new Three Split Screen function enables users to conveniently compare prices for hotels, transportation, and shopping, making trip planning more efficient and enjoyable. The device’s AI Translate function facilitates smooths communication between tourists and locals, while its powerful camera system, including a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 100x zoom, allows capture stunning images that showcase the country’s unique attractions.
