TRI i3 MK3 3rd Generation Planar+DD+BA Hybrid IEMs
After a long disappearance from the industry, TRI is back again with their latest release the TRI i3 MK3. TRI i3 MK3 is a phenomenal new set, the third generation to the highly acclaimed i3 series of three-driver hybrid IEMs. The previous two iterations in the series, i3 and i3 Pro have been a huge success for the brand. For the latest i3 MK3, TRI has revamped the product from the ground up. It features all-new Purple-colored CNC machined aluminum alloy ear shells and houses a 10mm beryllium Dynamic Driver, a 10mm 3rd generation planar driver, and a Knowles 2356 BA driver. The pair has been tuned precisely to deliver an outstanding listening experience for the users.
TRI i3 MK3 houses a three-driver hybrid configuration just like its predecessor models in the series. It includes a DD+BA+Planar driver combination promising outstanding sonic excellence with a precisely designed acoustic structure. TRI has equipped a 10mm beryllium diaphragm dynamic driver for outstanding bass response, it hits hard and provides a strong rumble as well. With the help of a Knowles 2356 Balanced Armature driver, the pair delivers outstanding clarity and a natural tone in the midrange. Lastly, we have a 10mm planar magnetic driver that has been tuned for a clean, defined, and well-extended treble region.
TRI has professionally adjusted these drivers with a carefully designed acoustic chamber system. They have independent acoustic tubes from the drivers to the nozzle helping in a cohesive sound performance. TRI has implemented high-quality Knowles dampers to adjust the tuning of each driver unit.
TRI has designed the cavities with great precision as well. We have fully metallic cavities made using a high-precision CNC machining process. They are made up of high-quality aluminum alloy material with a clean, anodized finish in a stunning purple color option. The shells look completely premium and exquisite. They have an ergonomic shape that ensures a comfortable wearing experience. TRI bundles the i3 MK3 with a bunch of high-quality accessories. This includes 15 pairs of ear tips including TRI Clarion tips, and also has a stunning cable as well. The pair comes with TRI Grace cable. It is a 612-core 5N OCC silver-plated coaxial cable with a 4.4mm balanced termination. It ensures high-quality sound reproduction with great clarity and low distortion in the output signal.
