Ulefone interprets Ulefone Metal Technique
As its name suggests, Ulefone Metal adopts a metal Unibody approached with CNC cutting technique and today Ulefone post a blog to tell how the metal body is made.
We can see from the picture that the body of Ulefone Metal is composed of three sections. Of them, the trunk part is got from a whole piece of magnesium-aluminum alloy to keep the natural texture of metal, while the upper and lower lips are actually made from plastic for better reception of signals, a common approach among metallic phones.
The metal part of the body has adopted grit blasting to have fine and smooth surface, while the plastic part also had matte finish to fit the metallic aura. A bonus point is that Ulefone designer has joined the three parts of phone body by grooves instead of leaving rough gaps between them. Besides, there is slight curve on the margin of the back cover to ensure comfortable grip and the edges of body are chamfered to deliver some toughness.
Being a 5-inch HD device, Ulefone Metal packs MTK6753 8-Core Chipset, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB Storage, Sony IMX149 Camera, Fingerprint scanner, and 3050mAh battery. They have not released the price yet while inviting people to predict in giveaways on the site and Facebook.
