What does UMIDIGI mean and its 4 (Z,S,C,G) series stands for?

As rumors about UMIDIGI’s first global band smartphone UMIDIGI One heat up (will be attached to one of the following series later), more and more phone users noticed the company—UMIDIGI. Today, let’s discover the hidden meaning behind the brand and what each model stands for.

UMIDIGI

UMIDIGI logo
The letter “U” in our logo stands for “you”, our customer. “MI”sounds like “me” in English, and “DIGI” means digital. So the brand means our customers always come at first, through digital devices we’re linked to the world. It also has another meaning— “Undertake Mission Impossible”, because UMIDIGI undertook many challenges that had seemed impossible to conquer in our early days.

Our value – Enabling everyone to appreciate the art of technology
Since founded in 2012, UMIDIGI firmly believes that high-quality phone doesn’t meant to be costly. We’re committed to focusing on premium products, differentiating innovation, achieving technological breakthroughs, bringing the latest technology to consumers with reasonable price and, most importantly, co-developing products with the help of our fans.

Model Series – Z, S, C, G
– The Z series is on behalf of UMIDIGI’s highest manufacturing and technical achievement. With the top-level design and high-end hardware, it’s workmanship and performance are perfect. Like the unannounced hit UMIDIGI Z2, the Z series is always the apple of people’s eye.
– The motto “Built for breakthrough.” perfectly describes the spirit S series carried. This flagship model is absolutely a knockout. It has excellent performance, and shoulders the innovative mission. Model in this segment such as UMIDIGI S2 Lite and UMIDIGI S2 Pro owns lots of true fans.
– C series is the choice of cost-effective. Though streamlined little tech, it still has flagship quality in a simplified way. Just like the UMIDIGI C Note 2 and C2, C series has the highest price-performance ratio.
– G series is also cost-effective. Being stylish and thin, the G series is a not bad entry-level phone.
