UMIDIGI S3 Pro Hands-on: World’s First 48MP Ceramic Phone!
UMIDIGI S3 Pro, the world’s first ceramic phone with 48MP Sony IMX586 camera from UMIDIGI, was unveiled with giveaway before MWC 2019. The company just released a hands-on video of the S3 Pro to show its ceramic design, 48MP shooting and gaming performance.
The UMIDIGI S3 Pro ceramic design looks premium
The UMIDIGI S3 Pro gets premium ceramic back like the Mi Mix series and Galaxy S10 plus, with the glossy metal frame, and on the front over a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop display with a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. As we know, the ceramic for phones is highly durable and better for strong signal as well as heat dissipation. Additionally, the S3 Pro preserves the 3.5mm headphone jack which is missed in most new flagships.
The UMIDIGI S3 Pro takes good 48MP photos
The main camera of the S3 Pro is Sony IMX586 sensor, the same one with Mi 9 and Honor View 20, and it has 48 megapixels with 1/2 inch large image sensor, F/1.7 aperture and 4-in-1 super pixel 1.6μm. The main camera is combined with a second 12-megapixel telephoto camera. The photo sample in the video shows great details from the 48MP camera in UMIDIGI S3 Pro.
Nice heavy game performance and 5150mAh battery
UMIDIGI S3 Pro holds a fast AI SoC Helio P70 with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. It can run the heavy games smoothly like PUBG. Also, it comes with a 5150mAh huge battery with 18W fast charge support. And the S3 Pro ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
