Unboxing Rikomagic MK902II RK3288 Quad Core TV Box. Tests & First Impressions.
Rikomagic, developer company of the first Android mini PC, released some time ago one of my favourite Android TV Boxes: the RKM MK902II.
Powered by the new RK3288 quad-core Cortex A17 processor, the MK902II is up to 60% faster than the fastest crop of RK3188 mini-PCs – the MK802IV and MK902. The 32-bit Cortex A17 offers considerably higher performance than the current crop of 32bit mobile processors – the RK3188 and RK3066. It also has similar performance to the 64-bit Cortex A57 – all at considerably less power usage than the previous chips.
Other improvements to the MK902II are the new Mali T764 graphics processor which allows for 4K video playback. Also included is gigabit Ethernet support, dual WiFi and IR remote control.
