Upgraded desktop DAC Topping D70 BT comes with Bluetooth
TOPPING, established in 2008, is very experienced in developing audio products such as power amplifier, headphone amplifier, DAC, lossless media player and etc. They produce especially a full range of DAC amplifiers from desktop, portable to Bluetooth ones. Flagship DAC of Topping D70 is popular since releasing last year but it would be much better if it is with Bluetooth.
R&D, most important part of TOPPING, update this in their new flagship DAC D70BT which will be shown on the exhibition 7th-8th September in Guangzhou. It will be ready to deliver since 9th, September.
Main features of D70BT DAC amplifier
Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC transmission
D70 BT has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC, it uses CSR8675 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/APTX/APTX LL/APTX HD protocol. To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, Topping abandons the built-in DAC of CSR8675 and connect its digital signal to 2xAK4497 to decode.
Bluetooth DAC/Receiver application
Bluetooth support Sony LDAC transmission, with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. Connecting your phone, tablet, and laptop to D70 via wireless Bluetooth, you can output better quality Bluetooth music on D70BT.
AK4118 Receiver
AK4118 is the jitter lowest S/PDIF receiver at present. It has good compatibility which used to receive optical, coaxial, AES signals up to 24bit/J92kHz.
High-Resolution Music
CD’ s resolution is 16bit/44.1kHz while SACD’ s is DSD64. But what D70 BT can support up to 32bit/768kHz & DSD512, which are much beyond the CD and SACD. Moreover, Topping opts the Thesycon customization driver (Win 7 and above), providing much better support for DSD.
2xAK4497
AK4497 is flagship model in AKM company. Topping use one AK4497 working for one sound channel in D70. So the sound and channel separation will much better than the situation of using only one piece of AK4497.
Various Input Ports
D70 BT has various inputs: AES, USB, Optical, coaxal which all support up to 24bit192K input. And both USB and IIS support 32bit768k & DSD512 input as well as Bluetooth input for Bluetooth version only. It’ s worth mentioning that D70 is able to be compatible with the most of IIS signals by setting in the menu.
Selectable output port
D70BT has both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA output. It can be set as XLR output only, RCA output only, or both XLR and RCA output, which are much more conveniently for your usage in the multiple systems.
Voltage selector switch
115V for AC 100V-120V 50/60Hz, 230V for AC220V- 240V 50/60Hz. D70 BT opts 2 x ACCUSILICON femtosecond crystal to make the Jitter lower. 4 x 3300uF nichicon FW capacitance provide energy reserves for the AK4497, and 8 x nichicon Muse capacitance are coupling output signals of it. The Ultra low-noise low- dropout linear regulators TPS7A4701 and TPS7A3301 provide power for D70BT, bringing you “a darker background”. The output circuit is built up with L ME49720 OP-AMP, Vishay high precision resistor and WIMA capacitance, which providing you a better performance.
DAC & Pre-amp
D70 BT has an internal volume controlling function which can adjust the volume from -99dB to 0dB. Thus you can connect D70BT to an amplifier, multicenter amplifier, or power speaker to enjoy the music with the remote control.
DAC Application
Volume controlling function also can be shut off. Then D70BT keep the max output at 4Vrms(XLR)&2Vrms(RCA)output, it works as a native DAC.
