Video of Bluboo Edge’s curved display surviving the ball impact test
Seems like that we are overwhelmed with news of the latest Bluboo Edge model. We must admit that it’s really hard to take eyes off its eye-poping dual curved display design. But Bluboo claimed that the screen of the Bluboo Edge is definitely not some sort of eye candy.
Generally speaking, a curvy display comes with rather brittle marginal parts. To overcome the issue, Bluboo engineers thicken the weak margin of the display based on tough Gorilla Glass 4, making the screen stronger and more solid than ever. And to prove it, Bluboo also release a video testing the strength of the Edge’s display. In the video we could find that the Edge’s screen remains undamaged and works well after violent iron ball impact test, successfully handling continuously heavy impact by iron balls from 20cm’s height.
As it’s known that main selling points of the Bluboo Edge include beautiful dual curved design, 5.5-inch HD resolution OGS display, quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 256 GB microSD expansion, 13 Mpix Sony IMX219 main camera and Android 6.0 as OS. And the device also has a front fingerprint identifier, and a heart rate monitor, which is not so common for the price range. The Bluboo Edge is currently in the presale period, you could find all infos about the presale in here.
