Now, let’s show you more details about the features and specs of the phone.

Design
Vivo iQOO pro 5G edition will inherit the design of the previous iQOO smartphones. It will have a 6.41-inch 1080P screen with a water drop notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor on the front and a triple-rear camera setup on the back. One thing is different that the iQOO Pro 5G edition will add a 5G logo on the back.

5G feature
The iQOO Pro will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and Snapdragon X50 5G modem to achieve 5G network connection. Besides, it will support dual SIM card dual standby so that you can use both 5G and 4G SIM cards.

UFS 3.0 and F2FS
To maximize the performance of the Snapdragon 855 Plus, the iQOO Pro 5G edition will adopt the cutting-edge UFS 3.0 flash technology, which has been used on OnePlus 7 series phones. Coupled with the TurboWrite and HPB, the phone’s read speed can reach 1567M/s, which is 80% faster than UFS 2.1. Meanwhile, the writing speed increased by 100%.

Despite the UFS 3.0, the iQOO Pro 5G edition will adopt F2FS. The F2FS is also known as Flash Friendly File System, which is specially designed for flash memory. The advantage of the F2FS is that it will make the transfer speed of the small files faster.

In addition, IQOO Pro also uses a better LPDDR4X memory scheme. This industry-recognized top-level memory technology uses ultra-thin, advanced packaging, and the data transmission speed of the input / output interface can reach up to 3200Mbp / s, which is the same as LPDDR4 in frequency, bandwidth, operating voltage, etc., but the power consumption is reduced by about 17%. The reduction in power consumption means that the LPDDR4X can improve the battery life and heating of the mobile phone, while improving the performance, the heating control ability is excellent at the same time.

Monster compiler enhancement technology
The well-received Monster compiler enhancement technology on iQOO Neo will also appear on iQOO Pro. According to the test results of vivo laboratory, compared with iQOO, the cold start speed of iQOO Pro, with the new generation of Monster compiler enhancement technology can be increased by up to 19% and 29% compared with the industry average. Hot start speed can be increased by up to 19%, up to 28% compared to the industry average, and application switching speed can be increased by up to 13%, up to 22% over the industry. Therefore, with the Monster compiler enhancement technology, the iQOO Pro 5G phone will offer you enhanced gaming performance, faster app running speed, etc.

Camera, battery and OS
The iQOO Pro 5G edition will adopt triple rear cameras consisting of a 48MP primary lens, a 13MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP depth lens. Besides, it will offer a 12MP front camera. In terms of battery, the iQOO Pro 5G edition will offer a 4500mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging. Besides, it will run on Android 9.0 operating system.

Price and release date

The iQOO Pro 5G edition will be released on August 22 in Beijing, China. The 8+128GB edition will sell for 4498 yuan ($637). In addition, the phone will also offer 12GB RAM memory option. Will it be another amazing flagship killer?
