Vivo Y7s launches with new MediaTek Helio P65 inside
One of the first smartphones to feature the new MediaTek Helio P65 inside is the Vivo Y7s; bringing a new performance paradigm to the mainstream market.
The P65 mixes two powerful Arm Cortex-A75 processors and six nimble and efficient Cortex-A55 all clocked up to speedy 2.0 GHz. These, plus the Arm Mali-G52 class GPU and Vivo’s own Multi-Turbo technology pumps up performance making it ideal for avid gamers. The Y7s adds a capacious 6 GB memory and 128 GB storage, that’s further expandable by up to 256 GB microSD card.
Vivo slides a fingerprint sensor underneath the gorgeous 6.38-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display to ensure there’s 90% screen-to-body coverage. A tiny waterdrop notch houses the front-facing camera, while at the back a triple-camera array mixes a 16MP main camera with an 8MP wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor, for a great mix of shot choices. The P65 includes a dedicated depth engine that enables professional-grade Depth of Field (Bokeh) effects. Further baked-in enhancements include Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC) technology, which cleverly mitigate warped (‘jello effect’) video when capturing ultra-fast action (up to 240fps) or panning shots. Vivo adds SuperHDR and AI-camera capabilities to enhance the photography-creds even further.
The Y7s runs the latest Android 9 plus Vivo’s Funtouch OS with Jovi AI assistant. Available in either Sea Wind Blue that mixes in hues of pink, or Wave Blue that’s mixed with eye-catching gold accents, the Vivo Y7s provides stunning summer styles.
