WUBEN E2 PULSE Mini EDC Light Launches at $19.99

The best everyday-carry gadgets are often the ones small enough to stay with you all the time, and WUBEN’s latest release takes that philosophy almost literally. The new WUBEN E2 PULSE is an exceptionally compact rechargeable EDC flashlight weighing only 10.7 grams, yet it combines three different lighting systems, magnetic hands-free operation, USB-C charging and several creative carry options. Even better, the launch comes with an attractive introductory offer. The E2 PULSE is currently listed at $19.99 instead of $29.99, a 33% saving, making this tiny multi-purpose light particularly interesting for anyone building a lightweight EDC setup.

Only 10.7g – A Flashlight Designed to Be Carried Everywhere
The headline feature of the E2 PULSE is undoubtedly its size. Measuring only 19 × 14.6 × 41.4 mm and weighing 10.7g including its battery, this is the kind of EDC tool that can remain attached to a set of keys or backpack without turning into another bulky accessory. WUBEN compares its weight to roughly two individual AirPods Pro earbuds, illustrating just how little additional weight it introduces into an everyday setup. Despite those miniature dimensions, WUBEN has made the E2 considerably more versatile than a conventional keychain flashlight. It can serve as a traditional keychain light, attach to a backpack or zipper, work as a small desk companion, or even become a wearable necklace-style light when combined with the appropriate clip accessory. A quick-release connector also makes it easier to detach the flashlight when it is actually needed. This flexibility is important because the E2 PULSE isn’t trying to compete with a large high-output searchlight. Instead, it is designed around the much more practical idea of having useful illumination immediately available whenever something unexpected happens.

Three Light Sources Inside One Tiny EDC Light
WUBEN has managed to integrate three lighting functions into the E2 PULSE: a main white LED, a side white COB light and a signaling system. The main light reaches a maximum output of 150 lumens, with a beam distance of up to 26 meters and peak intensity of 169 cd. Its High setting begins at 150 lumens before stepping down to 100 lumens, while Medium provides 50 lumens and Low drops all the way to 1 lumen. WUBEN specifies runtimes of approximately one hour on Medium and up to seven hours on Low. For situations where a broader area of illumination is preferable, the side white light offers 80-lumen High and 10-lumen Low settings. The side COB LEDs are rated at 5000K with CRI 90, potentially making this mode particularly useful for close-range tasks where a wider, more natural-looking illumination field is preferable to a concentrated beam. The third component is the signal-light system. It includes a Heartbeat Breathing Mode, red beacon and red/blue flashing functionality, extending the E2 beyond straightforward illumination into visibility, marking and attention-signaling applications.

Magnetic Hands-Free Lighting Adds Genuine Practicality
One of my favorite ideas in this design is the magnetic base. A tiny flashlight becomes considerably more useful when you don’t actually have to hold it. The E2 PULSE can be attached to a suitable metal surface, transforming it into a miniature hands-free work light. That could prove convenient while inspecting something underneath a desk, working around a vehicle, searching through equipment at night, carrying out a small repair or dealing with an unexpected power outage. It is exactly the sort of feature that makes sense on an EDC product: you may not need it every day, but when the appropriate situation appears, having it already attached to your keys can be considerably more useful than searching for a conventional flashlight.

USB-C Rechargeable with a Built-In Battery
There are no disposable cells to worry about here. WUBEN equips the E2 with an integrated 120mAh lithium-ion polymer battery, while charging is handled through USB-C. The charging connector is protected behind a dust- and water-resistant cover, keeping the exterior relatively clean while allowing the flashlight to be topped up using the same type of cable already used by countless modern electronics. Given the extremely small dimensions of the E2, the battery capacity is naturally modest. The emphasis is therefore on convenience and portability rather than sustained high-output illumination. The 1-lumen Low mode, however, extends the specified runtime to as much as seven hours, providing a useful option when maximum brightness isn’t necessary.

Built for Real Everyday Carry
Small does not necessarily have to mean fragile. WUBEN rates the E2 PULSE at IP66 for dust and water resistance, while the flashlight is also designed to survive impacts from up to 1.5 meters. Its construction combines an aluminum-alloy element with PC material. There is even a luminescent element incorporated into the design. After absorbing light, the material can glow, adding another small but distinctive detail to a product that WUBEN clearly wants to position somewhere between functional EDC equipment and a wearable accessory. Two finishes are currently shown: Gradient Red and Gradient Black.

More Than Just Another Keychain Flashlight
What makes the WUBEN E2 PULSE particularly appealing is that the company hasn’t simply tried to squeeze a bright LED into the smallest possible enclosure. Instead, the 10.7g body combines a focused main beam, broad side illumination, signaling functions, magnetic mounting, multiple carry configurations, a quick-release mechanism and rechargeable operation. The result is closer to a miniature multi-function lighting tool than a basic keychain torch. Its maximum 150-lumen output and 26-meter throw should be more than sufficient for typical close-range EDC situations such as finding something inside a car, illuminating a path for a short distance, locating dropped objects, navigating a dark room, walking the dog or handling an unexpected repair. For camping and travel, meanwhile, its biggest advantage may simply be that there is almost no reason to leave it behind. At 10.7g, it takes up less space and weight than many accessories already attached to a typical set of keys.

WUBEN E2 PULSE Launch Price: $19.99
The launch offer makes the new E2 particularly compelling. WUBEN currently lists the E2 PULSE for $19.99, down from its stated regular price of $29.99, representing a 33% launch discount. The company is also advertising a limited-time promotion for customers who purchase and review the E2 before September 10, with an opportunity to win discounts of up to $99. WUBEN states that the flashlight is backed by a 30-day return policy and five-year limited warranty, subject to the company’s applicable conditions.

Final Thoughts
The WUBEN E2 PULSE looks like an interesting example of how far genuinely miniature EDC lighting has evolved. At only 10.7g, it is small enough to become something you attach to your keys and largely forget about, but WUBEN has still found room for a 150-lumen primary light, 80-lumen side light, signaling modes, magnetic mounting, USB-C charging and a surprisingly flexible carry system. The $19.99 introductory price makes the proposition even stronger. Rather than buying a tiny flashlight that performs only one task, the E2 PULSE provides several forms of illumination in an enclosure measuring barely over four centimeters long. For EDC enthusiasts, travelers, campers or simply anyone who appreciates having a useful light permanently within reach, the E2 PULSE appears to strike a particularly attractive balance between minimal weight, practical functionality and affordable pricing. And with WUBEN reducing the launch price from $29.99 to $19.99, this is probably the most interesting time to add one to an everyday-carry setup.
