We are not joking when we say xDuoo isn’t your regular Tube amplifier. It’s a specially crafted tube amplifier with a comprehensive tube topology where the sound signal is entirely processed by high-quality vacuum tubes. Two 5U4G tubes handle high-voltage sound signal rectification. This section delivers independent anode voltage to the left and right channel circuits. xDuoo has further implemented two matched and screened 12AU7 dual triode tubes in the pre-amplification stage. They add a signature warm and mellow flavour. Furthermore, a four-tube setup utilizing matched 6C19 power tubes(two per channel) handles current amplification in the buffer stage. This entire tube setup promises a pure, organic tone that mesmerizes listeners with exceptional sound tone.
xDuoo TA-68 features a fully balanced sound signal path from the input to the output section. This design ensures maximum channel separation (up to 80 dB in balanced mode), minimizes crosstalk, and creates a remarkably quiet noise floor. With this balanced circuitry, the left and right channels operate on completely independent tube circuits and are powered by two low-noise EI transformers. This dual-transformer, isolated power supply design eliminates inter-channel crosstalk at the source, xDuoo has made sure you get clean sound with the TA-68.
xDuoo TA-68 features multiple input and output options for versatile connectivity on any desktop chain. For input, we have 3-pin XLR, 4.4mm balanced ports, and an RCA single-ended port. As for output, we have 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs and a 6.35mm single-ended headphone output. One of the key standout features of the TA-68 is its independent left and right channel volume controls. This allows users to correct channel imbalances in recordings or headphones with much finer control than a standard stereo potentiometer. Additionally, we have two-level adjustable gain for easy pairing with different headphones.
The TA-68 utilizes a classic capacitor-coupled output topology to block direct current from reaching the headphones while preserving the tube sound. It features custom HiFi-grade components, including Vishay coupling capacitors and Nichicon filter capacitors. It has a maximum output power of 330mW @ 300Ω impedance, recommended Headphone pairing is 60Ω to 600Ω. We also have a 45-second startup delay with a precise protection circuit that protects your headphones from sudden popping sounds during startup. xDuoo has crafted the TA-68 with sheer brilliance, the amplifier features a solid aluminium alloy material chassis and weighs around 11.0Kg.
