XGIMI TITAN Noir Series Kickstarter Campaign Q&A (Updated)
1. What Is the Price of the XGIMI TITAN Noir Series, and Why Isn’t It shown in other currencies?
The entire Kickstarter campaign will run in USD only, so all listed prices are shown in US dollars.
TITAN Noir: $2299, Save $1700
TITAN Noir Pro: $2499, Save $2500
TITAN Noir Max: $2799, Save $3200
2. Is the Product Price the Same for All Countries?
Yes, the pledge price is uniform globally. However, Shipping, Sales Tax, and Custom fees are calculated separately based on your specific region and local regulations.
3. What Is Included in the $2,799 Price for TITAN Noir Max?
Regional policies vary, but in general, the $2,799 price includes customs duties, a 2-year warranty, and shipping costs for the EU, US, Canada, and the UK.
For Taxes:
– EU and UK: VAT will need to be based on your local country requirements. Paid separately
– US and Canada: sales tax is in the price. Already included
4. Why Aren’t Shipping Fees and Taxes Included in the Initial Kickstarter Pledge?
According to Kickstarter’s official guidelines and global Marketplace Facilitator laws, sales tax and VAT must be calculated based on your final shipping address and the most current tax rates at the time of fulfillment. By collecting these fees during the post-campaign survey, we ensure that you are charged the exact, local rate required by your government. This prevents any overpayment during the initial pledge and ensures a smooth and “Pre-Cleared” customs process, so your reward arrives without any surprise handling fees.
5. How and When Will I Pay for Shipping and Taxes?
We use a transparent Two-Step Payment process to ensure accuracy and prevent unexpected “hidden fees” at your doorstep:
(1) Kickstarter Payment: Kickstarter will process your reward pledge immediately after the campaign ends.
(2) Post-campaign survey: Shortly after the campaign ends, you will receive a survey email via our official partner. Once you provide your shipping address, the system will calculate the precise Sales Tax/VAT for your location. This ensures your package arrives with no additional handling charges from the courier.
6. How Does the Deposit Work? Why Is There a $50 Deposit on xgimi.com, And Where Do I Pay for the Full Product Price?
The $50 deposit on eu.xgimi.com is used to reserve your priority access and lock in the best available deal before the Kickstarter campaign goes live. When the Kickstarter campaign launches, you will complete your actual purchase on Kickstarter, where the full product price will be paid. As long as you use the same email address for both your eu.xgimi.com deposit and your Kickstarter pledge, we will verify your order after the campaign ends and issue the corresponding refund/benefit to your original payment method according to the deposit offer. In short, you’ll get an when you place a deposit on XGIMI Official Website.extra $200 off the Kickstarter price
