Xiaomi held one of its most important domestic launch events of the year, officially introducing Xiaomi 15 Series, Xiaomi Pad 7, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2 to Mainland China. Xiaomi 15 Pro’s design philosophy is to create the best in-hand feel flagship of this generation. It features a slightly curved display, aluminum frame, seamless camera design, and unified ceramic camera deco, all brought together in a sleek attractive design. Xiaomi 15 Pro is available in three base colors: Gray, White, and Green, alongside a unique Liquid Silver Edition.
Peak performance paired with a massive 6100mAh battery capacity
Xiaomi 15 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor at its core, and Xiaomi’s self-developed HyperCore system kernel gives it even more incredible performance potential. It also features an upgraded cooling system with 14% more cooling area, enabling faster cooling of high-temperature areas. In addition to its impressive performance, the battery life provides exceptional peace of mind with its substantial 6100mAh battery capacity. Despite reducing device weight by approximately 10g, the battery capacity has been increased by 1220mAh when compared with the previous generation.
Leica Summilux optical system with ultra-level telephoto
Xiaomi 15 Pro is equipped with three Leica large-aperture lenses that cover focal lengths from 14mm to 120mm, making it versatile for various styles from portraits to landscapes. The main camera has an impressive ƒ/1.44 aperture, allowing more light, faster shutter speeds, and natural background blur. This creates an enhanced “main character” effect in portrait shots and emphasizes subjects in stills.
The telephoto lens shares the same Sony IMX858 sensor as Xiaomi 14 Ultra. It features a periscope structure with an effective focal length of 120mm, delivering powerful zoom and intense image capabilities. It achieves 10x lossless zoom using high-pixel readout mode, extending focal range to 240mm.
On the software side, Xiaomi AISP 2.0 computational photography platform incorporates multiple serial algorithms to produce UltraRAW digital negatives in a single step, while also enabling 20x UltraZoom. It also includes an advanced AI model for imaging, which covers the photo, video, and post-production workflow, greatly enhancing ease of use and creative possibilities.
Price and availability
Xiaomi 15 Pro comes in three colors: Gray, Green, and White. Its prices are 5,299 RMB for 12GB+256GB, 5,799 RMB for 16GB+512GB, and 6,499 RMB for 16GB+1TB. Both models have a Liquid Silver Edition, starting at 4,699 RMB for Xiaomi 15 and 5,499 RMB for Xiaomi 15 Pro.
