Xiaomi Introduces REDMI 17 Series with a 7,500mAh Battery
Larger battery and faster charging for everyday reliability
Power is at the core of REDMI 17 Series. Built around a massive 7500mAh (typ) battery, the series is engineered to stay productive, entertained, and connected for longer, helping users go longer between charges.¹ Whether streaming, navigating, video calling, or creating content, the large-capacity battery is designed to keep up with busy schedules and longer days.
Whether watching videos, listening to music, staying connected, or capturing everyday moments, REDMI 17 Series is designed to keep up with the demands of everyday life. Depending on the activity, REDMI 17 delivers up to 28 hours of video playback, 91 hours of music playback, 46 hours of calling, or 12 hours of video recording, while REDMI 17 5G supports up to 28 hours of 1080p local video playback, 109 hours of music playback with Bluetooth® earphones, 53 hours of calling, or 10 hours of 1080p video recording.²
With 45W turbo charging,³ REDMI 17 Series gets back to full power in just 96 minutes, while a quick 35-minute charge is enough to power through the day.¹ It also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging that adds even greater convenience, allowing REDMI 17 Series to power compatible accessories whenever they’re needed.⁴
An expansive display for immersive viewing
REDMI 17 Series features an expansive 6.9-inch immersive display that brings a more immersive viewing experience across streaming, gaming, browsing, and reading. Its intelligent 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate dynamically adjusts between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz to keep interactions smooth while optimizing power efficiency.⁵ Combined with Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications and DC dimming, the display provides a more comfortable viewing experience, even during extended use.
Built to withstand the demands of everyday life, the display is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 7i for enhanced scratch resistance and improved drop protection. IP64 dust and water resistance together with Wet Touch Technology help ensure reliable responsiveness across a variety of everyday conditions.⁶

Bold new design, inside and out
REDMI 17 Series introduces an all-new, nature-inspired design language in a range of classic and expressive colors that balances clean aesthetics with everyday practicality. Available in a selection of carefully curated finishes, REDMI 17 comes in Black, Deep Blue, Oak Green, and Lotus Purple, while REDMI 17 5G is offered in Black, Deep Blue, and Vivid Orange,⁷ with the latter featuring a premium PU leather finish for a softer, more comfortable grip.
Beyond its refreshed color palette, REDMI’s flat display and matte frame architecture as well as Metal Deco design come together with a more pronounced R-angle to create a flagship-inspired look that’s as comfortable to hold as it is to look at, while a center punch-hole display and thinner bezels give the front a cleaner, more immersive appearance. Rounding out the design is a Dynamic RGB Light system that brings personalized lighting to incoming calls, app notifications, charging status, gaming, and camera use, combining practical feedback with distinctive visual expression.
Smooth performance for everyday entertainment
REDMI 17 Series combines capable hardware with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 to deliver a smooth and responsive experience across everyday tasks, entertainment, and multitasking.⁹ REDMI 17 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra, while REDMI 17 5G features the Snapdragon® 4 Gen 5 Mobile Platform with 5G for faster, more reliable connectivity. Xiaomi HyperOS 3 further enhances the experience with smoother animations,⁹ improved responsiveness, and more seamless day-to-day interactions.
For the camera, REDMI 17 Series’ 50MP AI dual camera system captures stunningly clear, natural images in everyday environments, while front and rear dual-view shooting makes it easy to record moments from multiple perspectives all at once. For those live-out-loud moments, dual stereo speakers equipped with up to 300% volume boost bring bigger,¹⁰ more powerful audio to videos, music, calls, and more.
