Xiaomi Master Experience: An exploration of humanity
Xiaomi unveils their new mobile photography concept “Xiaomi Master Experience”, a multi-day immersive photography exploration of humanity. Leveraging the power of their Xiaomi 15 Series smartphones, co-engineered with Leica, fleeting moments of human emotions are transformed into timeless stories through innovative technology and the creative vision of their ever growing photography community.
New Era of Mobile Imagery
As we enter the new era of mobile imagery in 2025 with the development of the Xiaomi 15 Series, Xiaomi believes that the most powerful images are those born not from perfection, but from freedom and authenticity.

Humanity Photography Project
Inspired by humanistic photography, they have now embarked on a photography project that aims to capture some of the most powerful images of humanity by exploring three key themes that lie at the heart of the history of human storytelling: Our triumphs, our passions and our greatest challenges.
The Xiaomi Master Experience Journey
The Xiaomi Master Experience began with global photographers invited to capture the vibrant energy of the ‘Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series in Madrid’, where Xiaomi was an official sponsor for 2025. The raw determination, tension and moments of emotional release of the runners were all authentically captured during the marathon, using the Xiaomi 15 Series to transform fleeting moments of emotion into vivid stories of human triumphs.
The journey continued with ‘Humanity: Taste of Emotions’, an immersive exhibition where photographs captured through the authentic lens of the Xiaomi 15 Series met high-end creative gastronomy. In a series of intimate groups, guests were invited to have a “taste” of human passions. They explored three curated photography installations that each celebrated a different powerful human emotion: Euphoria, surprise and love. After the photographer of each collection had explained the story behind their works of art, guests were served a dish inspired by the photographs that attempts to encapsulate each emotion.
The final leg of this Master Experience journey culminated with ‘Humanity: Emotions in Focus’, an inspiring gathering dedicated to creativity and exchange of ideas from different cultures and perspectives. Acclaimed photographer Jonas Bendiksen, recipient of prestigious awards from World Press Photo, the International Center of Photography, the National Magazine Awards, and Pictures of the Year International, took to the stage and showcased his humanity inspired photo collection alongside a group of leading photographers from around the world brought together by Xiaomi.
“For me, photography is a way of exploring the world – an excuse to follow my curiosity wherever it leads…But just as often, photography is a way to reflect on the intimate and familiar.” – says Jonas Bendiksen. “Maybe these pictures are simply a reminder to myself-to be grateful for what’s right here, right now”.
Partnering with PhotoVogue, a global platform that celebrates the most interesting voices in contemporary photography, and led by Alessia Glaviano, Head of Global PhotoVogue, award-winning photographer and documentary and fashion director Claudia Revidat unveiled her photo collection that explored one of humanity´s greatest challenges, our relationship with nature. She explained how she discovered photography as a powerful language for expressing emotions.

I approach it through intimacy, instinct, and the invisible threads that connect personal memory to collective experience” – says Claudia Revidat, Photographer and Director from the global PhotoVogue community.
Global Photography Community
This year, Xiaomi has taken significant new steps in continuing to deepen and expand their global photography community. Building on their well established Xiaomi Master Class series and Xiaomi Creators program, they have begun 2025 by launching three new strategic photography focused initiatives.
– Xiaomi Master Experience – New 360 immersive photography experience for leading photographers and media
– Xiaomi Master Cross-talk – New platform to create dialogue amongst the world´s leading photographers
– Xiaomi Creators Tour – New travel focused program designed to provide their photography community with more opportunities to create interesting and authentic global stories
