Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 may adopt telephoto and periscope lens
On the evening of July 18, some netizens left a message under Wang Teng Weibo, product director of Xiaomi Company: “can Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 be added ultra-telephoto lens?” Wang Teng replied: “it should be”.
According to information released by the State intellectual property Office, Xiaomi has applied for a patent for a periscope lens, speculating that Xiaomi’s mobile phone is expected to add a periscope lens to achieve multiple hybrid zoom. So there is a big possibility of Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 with periscope lens.
Wang Teng had previously revealed that Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has a better sensor than Samsung 64MP sensor(GW1), but the model of the sensor for MIX 4 is not yet known.
On the other hand, Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform, and the platform will be commercially available in the second half of the year (ROG Game phone 2, Red Devils 3 also confirmed to use the platform), so Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is expected to carry Snapdragon 855 Plus.
As Xiaomi’s important flagship in the second half of the year, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is also expected to adopt Xiaomi’s core technology. Xiaomi has announced technologies that have not yet been mass-produced, including 100W super fast charging, wide-area screen fingerprint unlocking, off-screen cameras and other advanced technologies. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is likely to carry one of these technologies.
In terms of release date, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is expected to be released at the end of August this year. Let’s stay tuned.
