Xiaomi Pocophone F2: Xiaomi will update the Poco series with stronger CPU
With the Pocophone F1, Xiaomi landed a hit last year. Now there are first clues for a future successor – Poco F2.
Chinese technology giant Xiaomi relied on a particularly attractive concept for customers in 2018 to successfully bring its new smartphone Pocophone F1 among the people. For a price of around 300 euros, users were given a top phone that technically competed with devices that were significantly more expensive. The bill went up, users slammed boldly, the phone mausing into a box office hit. An ingenious coup that Xiaomi now seems to want to repeat.
Pocophone F2: Strong processor
At least that recent entries in the database of the benchmark service suggest Geekbench. There, according to a media report, technical fans recently reviewed records of the Pocophone F2 – and they are already making you curious about more. According to the entries, the smartphone uses a Snapdragon 855 processor from Qualcomm, so it would once again be equipped with current technology and ample computing power.
Pocophone F2: Android Q on board
In addition, the smartphone used in the benchmark tests ran with a beta version of the operating system Android Q. This allows for initial conclusions about a possible start date. The tenth version of Google’s mobile system software is expected to be released in late summer 2019. If Xiaomi is awaiting publication, the Pocophone F2 is also expected to be launched during this period. It would suit: The maker unveiled the Pocophone F1 in August 2018. Still, the information that has emerged could also be forgeries. So better enjoy them with caution for now.
