ZOPO shows off Speed 8 flagship at MWC with MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo
ZOPO revealed it’s newest flagship smartphone, Speed 8, at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona
Speed 8 which is the first deca-core smartphone in the world. Introduced to the public by brand ambassador and MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo, the entire affair happened during a presentation at ZOPO’s booth at the MWC 2016 floor, with media and visitors alike stopping by to watch the unveiling.
The ZOPO Speed 8 is being release on April 12th, 2016 at $299.99. It represents the pinnacle of design and manufacturing from ZOPO and is one of the most powerful devices to be released to the market during 2016.
Device Specifications
The deca-core Helio X20 – latest and most powerful MediaTek SoC to date – is the driving force within the Speed 8, assisted by 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, and a 3600mAh battery with fast charging. Placed in the back of the Speed 8 is a 21MP camera coupled with a SONY IMX230 Sensor and dual LED Flash. Up front is a 8MP front camera with its own LED Flash. Making it all come together is Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, always present and manifesting itself in the Full-HD IPS 5.5” display.
Other features include NFC – for near field communications -, USB Type-C, Dual SIM compatibility, fingerprint scanner placed in the back of the device for increased security and 4G LTE support.
