ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces the ROG Swift PG259QN 360Hz, the World’s Fastest Gaming Monitor, Available in September.
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced that the ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN gaming monitor will be available in September for $699. ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN is the world’s fastest esports gaming monitor and delivers winning performance for fast-paced action and battle royale games. It features a Full HD (1920 x 1080) Fast IPS panel with up to a 360Hz refresh rate, 1 ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time and NVIDIA® G-SYNC® processor for silky-smooth gameplay and ultra-realistic visuals.
To celebrate the product launch, ROG is collaborating with Bugha, the 2019 Fortnite World Cup champion, for The Choice of Champions campaign. Gamers can join the campaign by submitting gaming challenges via social media for Bugha to complete using ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN. Participants will be entered to win an ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN gaming monitor of their own and a chance to team up with Bugha in a Fortnite duo competition.

ROG and Bugha invite gamers worldwide to submit the Fortnite challenges they want to see Bugha complete with ROG Swift 360Hz, such as not using sniper weapons or not building any structures. ROG and Bugha will pick three of the submitted challenges to take on and will post his attempts to complete them on Bugha’s YouTube channel. Challenges can be submitted by posting them as a comment with the hashtag #ROGSwift360Hz on one of Bugha’s tweets or TikTok videos, or on a post on the ROG Twitter, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook account. Participants whose challenges are picked will have a chance to win an ROG Swift 360Hz gaming monitor and play as Bugha’s teammate in a Fortnite duo competition.

ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN features a 24.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) Fast IPS panel with liquid crystal elements that turn on and off up to four times faster than conventional IPS panels, enabling a super-fast 1 ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time. The panel is also HDR10 compatible for color and brightness that exceed that of ordinary monitors, treating gamers to ultra-realistic graphics.
Built-in NVIDIA® G-SYNC® processor ensures gaming visuals with no tearing, stuttering or input lag. Additionally, enthusiasts and pro-level gamers can count on a full variable refresh rate (VRR) range and variable overdrive for pristine image quality and outstanding, silky smooth gameplay.
ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN has an esports-friendly design that lets gamers focus on the onscreen action with features designed to keep distractions to a minimum. A special non-reflective bottom bezel helps reduce onscreen reflections, while a repositioned indicator light on the underside of the bezel is away from the user’s line of sight. A space-saving V-shaped stand allows gamers to move their keyboard and mouse closer to the monitor and free up more space for their gaming setup.
The monitor also features a custom heatsink which offers more surface area for heat exchange compared to those found in other displays, ensuring efficient cooling during marathon gaming sessions.
