Join the Watch Face Contest and chase your dreams with us! With the rapid development of science and technology, the timekeeping function carried by the watch has more manifestations. Each swipe and click brings a different experience. Smart watches are giving time and you a new way of interaction. Base on this concept, DT NO.I has now started this watch face contest, build a stage for all design lovers. DT NO.I now sincerely invites you to participate in the DT NO.I watch face Design Contest, use technology to change our lives together. Use your creativity and imagination to express your pursuit of trends, regardless of theme or style! As long as you try, we are welcome any of your ideas!
For this Design Contest, to make it more appealing and interesting, there are major 3 Entry Requirements:
1. The work should fully embody smart elements, combine watch features and technology, and embody the rich connotations of smart life.
2. Applicants should fully consider the functionality, practicability, appreciation, recognition, creativity, artistry and image extension of smart watches.
3. Only the original works of the contestants are accepted, and a brief intrduction of the design concept is appreciated.
Second, there are the theme is not limited, and the design direction can refer to the following aspects: the design should reflect uniqueness, combine artistry and fun to show different cultural trends, make the dial full of fun, and enable users to obtain more information through the dial; You can also highlight a certain function from professionalism, design more professional dials, such as sports, heart rate, and reflect your professionalism and meticulousness from the work.
Design requirements
According to the appearance shape of the watch, design a watch face, square or round screen display is ok. The works include but are not limited to 3D, graphic design, illustration, animation and other forms. In terms of design and production, the dial is made according to the following requirements, and all contestants need to provide:
The source files of the design work. Designer needs to keep the source files of the work (support AI, PS, Sketch, C4D and other source files, and design elements such as icons and background images are layered independently and can be extracted and used separately). The size of the dial design is (420×485-square, 454×454-round). We reserve the right to use your design, include but not limited to: publicity, SNS platform Demo, and other forms of use; and you still retain the copyright of your design. And every time your design is requisitioned, will be signed with your name.
Contest time
1. The contest will start on April 20, with a one-month cycle;
2. All the received works will be posted on May 20th, and the design works with the highest votes will be selected through voting activities;
3. Award announcement: The award announcement time is May 31.
Winner will get:
2 x first prize, 100 USD per person,
5 x second prize, 50 USD per person,
10 x third prize, 10 USD per person.
We will carry on this every month based on the outcome, so everyone has a chance to win a prize.
