How to cast NAS videos to EZCast from your mobile phones.
The memory capacity on your mobile never seems to be enough. That’s why many people store memorable photos, videos, and songs on the NAS. NAS (Network Attached Storage) is an intelligent storage device connected to your home network. By using a mobile app, you can access files on the NAS via the Internet. Now, EZCast lets you cast the videos saved on your NAS to an HDTV directly by using your smartphone.
For Android phone users
– First, install a NAS video app on your phone e.g. DS video, Qvideo, and Synology Drive app.
– Second, download EZCast app from Google Play store, and set up your EZCast through the EZCast app.
– Next, if you use DLNA to cast NAS videos to EZCast from your Android phone, please follow the steps below.
Step1: Launch the NAS video app.
Step2: Scan for nearby devices.
Step3: Select your EZCast with the DLNA icon.
Step4: Select a video in your NAS and play it on the TV.
The most incredible thing about using DLNA is that you can do whatever you want on your phone while playing videos on your TV. Some Android phones have built-in screen mirroring protocols that support Miracast, if you like to use Miracast, please follow the steps below.
Step1: Launch the Quick Settings table of your Android phone and tap the “Miracast” icon. For example, if you use Samsung, then the icon is named “Smart View”.
Step2: Connect with your EZCast and start screen mirroring.
Step3: Launch the NAS video app, select a video in NAS and play it on your TV.
For iPhone users
– First, download a NAS video app from the Apple store e.g. DS video, Qvideo, and Synology Drive app.
– Second, install the EZCast app and set up your EZCast. You can cast NAS videos to EZCast from your iPhone by using DLNA or AirPlay.
– The steps to cast NAS videos with DLNA are the same as Android phones.

Step1: Launch Control Center and tap “Screen Mirroring”.
Step2: Select your EZCast on the list.
Step3: Turn on the NAS video app, select a video in NAS and play it on your TV.
