Tutorial on how to update firmware from local storage
First you have to download Android Marshmallow 6.0 for Qintex Q912 TV Box from here. Next you should unzip the firmware archive and copy to USB memory flash the two files provided: q6330-ota-20160909.zip & factory_update_param.aml. Plug the USB flash drive into the box in the single PC/USB port, near the WiFi external antenna. Acces ‘My applications’ and run ‘Update&Backup’ application, press ‘Select’ button an choose the firmware from your removable storage, select ‘q6330-ota-20160909.zip’ image and the pres ‘Update’ button. The box will reboot in recovery and it will install the new firmware version. The entire process will last about 5-6 minutes, so be patient. After restart just go in settings and make a factory reset.
