ACEMAGIC S3A Mini PC Price Drop: Now Just $470

The compact PC market has become increasingly interesting as modern mobile-class processors continue to deliver desktop-level performance without requiring a traditional tower, and one of the more distinctive machines in this category has just become significantly more attractive. The ACEMAGIC S3A Mini PC powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 is currently available for just $470, reduced from its previous listed price of $799, which represents a saving of $329, or roughly 41 percent. The discounted configuration combines the Ryzen 7 H 255 processor with 16GB of fast LPDDR5 memory, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Pro, making the new price particularly interesting for users looking for a compact productivity, entertainment and light-gaming system without moving into the price territory of larger gaming desktops.

Compact Design With Serious AMD Hardware Inside
The S3A is not designed like a conventional anonymous office mini PC. ACEMAGIC has given it a vertically oriented enclosure measuring approximately 135 × 162.7 × 71.8 mm, allowing it to occupy relatively little desk space while still providing enough internal room for a capable cooling system, extensive connectivity and dual M.2 storage. Its aggressive ventilation pattern, illuminated elements and large circular control on the front help give the machine more of a compact gaming-PC personality, making it suitable for a modern desktop where the computer itself is intended to remain visible rather than being hidden behind a monitor. The centerpiece of this particular configuration is AMD’s Ryzen 7 H 255, an eight-core, sixteen-thread Zen 4 processor manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process. It operates at a 3.8GHz base frequency and can boost as high as 4.9GHz, while the 16MB of L3 cache and modern architecture give the S3A considerably more processing potential than the low-power chips commonly found inside entry-level mini PCs. This kind of specification makes the system suitable not only for ordinary web browsing and media consumption, but also for heavier multitasking, large office workloads, photo editing, programming, content creation and other applications where having eight modern CPU cores can make a noticeable difference.

Radeon 780M Graphics Add Another Dimension
One of the more important advantages of the Ryzen 7 H 255 platform is that users do not have to rely on very basic integrated graphics. The S3A incorporates the AMD Radeon 780M, based on the RDNA 3 architecture, with 12 compute units and a GPU frequency of up to 2600MHz. While this is still an integrated GPU rather than a replacement for a high-end discrete graphics card, the Radeon 780M is substantially more capable than the graphics solutions traditionally associated with compact office PCs, opening the door to GPU-accelerated applications, high-resolution multimedia and casual or esports-oriented gaming with sensible graphics settings. That makes the S3A particularly appealing as a multi-purpose machine. It can sit on a desk during the working day handling productivity applications, multiple browser windows and communications software, then switch roles for streaming, multimedia or some gaming without requiring a separate graphics card or considerably larger chassis. ACEMAGIC also provides three operating profiles through the system’s physical control mechanism. Silent Mode is intended for lighter workloads such as web browsing and video playback while reducing fan noise, Auto Mode balances everyday performance requirements, while Performance Mode is intended for heavier productivity and gaming workloads where additional CPU and GPU performance is desirable. The ability to change operating characteristics without digging through Windows menus is a practical touch, particularly on a machine designed to move between office and entertainment workloads.

16GB LPDDR5 at 6400MT/s and Fast PCIe 4.0 Storage
The $470 configuration comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory running at 6400MT/s, arranged as 8GB + 8GB. Fast system memory is particularly relevant on an APU-based computer because the integrated Radeon graphics also depend on system memory bandwidth, so the high memory speed complements the Ryzen processor and Radeon 780M well. One limitation buyers should understand before ordering is that ACEMAGIC lists the LPDDR5 memory in this Ryzen 7 H 255 configuration as non-upgradable, so the 16GB capacity should be considered a permanent part of this particular version of the machine. Storage, fortunately, is considerably more flexible. The standard configuration includes a 512GB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, while the chassis incorporates two M.2 2280 interfaces supporting PCIe 3.0 or PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives. ACEMAGIC specifies support for up to 4TB of storage across the platform, giving owners the option to add considerably more capacity later for games, media libraries, large project files or local backups without replacing the entire computer. The slots are NVMe-oriented and ACEMAGIC specifically notes that SATA SSDs are not supported in this Ryzen 7 H 255 configuration.

USB4, 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 6E
Connectivity is another area where the S3A feels closer to a fully equipped desktop than a stripped-down mini PC. On the wired networking side, it incorporates 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, making it appropriate for faster home networks, NAS transfers and environments where Gigabit Ethernet has become a bottleneck. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, providing modern wireless networking alongside support for peripherals such as headphones, keyboards, mice and controllers. The physical port selection is equally extensive. ACEMAGIC specifies two front-facing USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports operating at up to 10Gbps, another four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports at the rear, a USB4 Type-C connection, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio connector. This is enough connectivity for a complete desktop installation involving external storage, keyboard and mouse, capture hardware, audio equipment and other peripherals without immediately forcing the user to add an external USB hub. Display support is particularly impressive for such a compact machine. The Ryzen 7 H 255 version provides HDMI 2.1 with support for up to 8K at 60Hz, USB4 with up to 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz output, and DisplayPort 2.0 with the same quoted 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz capability, giving the S3A considerable flexibility for multi-monitor workstations, high-refresh displays and home-entertainment configurations.

A Small PC That Can Replace a Much Larger Desktop
The attraction of the ACEMAGIC S3A is therefore not simply its reduced dimensions. The combination of an eight-core Zen 4 processor, Radeon 780M graphics, high-speed LPDDR5 memory, PCIe 4.0 storage, dual M.2 expansion, USB4, 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 6E creates a configuration capable of handling a surprisingly broad range of tasks while consuming only a fraction of the physical space required by a traditional desktop tower. For office use, it has enough processing capability and connectivity to become the center of a multi-display workstation. For a living room or entertainment setup, the powerful integrated graphics and high-resolution display outputs are equally useful. For casual gaming, the Radeon 780M gives the system capabilities that would have been difficult to imagine from integrated graphics only a few generations ago, while creators and power users can take advantage of the Ryzen processor’s eight cores and sixteen threads when dealing with more CPU-intensive applications. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled on the regular configured versions rather than the barebone model, so the 16GB + 512GB version is essentially a complete system that can be connected to a display, keyboard and mouse and put to work immediately. ACEMAGIC currently also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee and a two-year warranty on the product page.

The $470 Price Makes the S3A Much More Interesting
At its original listed price of $799, the ACEMAGIC S3A had to compete against a much broader selection of premium mini PCs and entry-level gaming systems, but at $470 the equation changes substantially. The current discount removes $329 from the listed price while retaining the Ryzen 7 H 255, Radeon 780M, 16GB LPDDR5 and 512GB PCIe 4.0 configuration, making the machine a considerably more accessible option for anyone who wants strong modern AMD hardware in a compact form factor. There are still practical considerations, especially the non-upgradable 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, but storage expansion is well covered by the two M.2 slots, while USB4, 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 6E and the extensive display connectivity give the S3A room to grow into a surprisingly sophisticated desktop setup. At $470 instead of $799, the ACEMAGIC S3A therefore becomes much easier to appreciate for what it is: a compact Windows 11 Pro computer that combines genuine eight-core Zen 4 processing power, one of AMD’s capable Radeon 780M integrated GPUs and unusually comprehensive connectivity in a distinctive vertical chassis that requires very little desk space. The ACEMAGIC S3A AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 Mini PC is currently listed for $470 in the 16GB LPDDR5 + 512GB SSD configuration on ACEMAGIC’s official store. Pricing, availability and regional shipping options can change, so the current offer should be checked directly before ordering.

We would also love the opportunity to test the ACEMAGIC S3A in the CGR editorial office, putting its Ryzen 7 H 255 platform, Radeon 780M graphics, cooling system and everyday performance through a real hands-on review.
