ELECFREAKS Back-to-School Sale 2026, Save 12% Storewide
12% Off Storewide with Code BTC12
The centerpiece of the campaign is straightforward: throughout the promotional period, shoppers can receive an extra 12% discount storewide by entering the coupon code BTC12 when placing an order. That makes the campaign particularly well timed for families preparing for a new academic year, teachers looking to expand their classroom STEM resources, and young enthusiasts who want to move beyond purely theoretical programming and start experimenting with physical hardware. ELECFREAKS has developed an extensive ecosystem around accessible STEM education, with products that encourage students to explore programming, robotics, electronics, sensors and automation through hands-on projects. Rather than simply interacting with technology as consumers, children can learn how hardware and software work together, developing practical problem-solving skills while building projects that provide immediate visual and physical feedback. The promotion runs until September 14, giving customers several weeks to explore the available products and take advantage of the discount.

Making STEM Learning More Engaging
What makes products of this type particularly interesting is their ability to transform programming from something abstract on a computer screen into something students can actually see moving, responding and interacting with the physical world. Robotics platforms can introduce concepts such as sensors, motors, logic and autonomous behavior, while programmable consoles can provide a much more entertaining route into coding by allowing students to create and play their own games. For beginners especially, seeing code produce an immediate physical result can make the learning process considerably more intuitive. This philosophy fits naturally with the Back-to-School campaign. A programmable robot or electronics kit can begin as an entertaining weekend project but gradually become a platform for experimenting with increasingly sophisticated ideas. ELECFREAKS is also adding an element of fun to the campaign through two giveaways, and participation involves more than simply entering a name into a draw.
Discord Challenge: How Many Sad TPBots Can You Find?
The first giveaway turns ELECFREAKS’ compact TPBot robot into a visual puzzle. A special campaign image is filled with TPBots showing a variety of cheerful expressions, but several of the little robots are noticeably less enthusiastic about heading back to school. The challenge is to carefully inspect the image and determine exactly how many sad TPBots are hiding among the crowd. Participants who submit the correct answer will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a TPBot. It is a simple concept, but one that fits the playful character of the TPBot particularly well. The robot is designed to make programming and robotics approachable, giving younger users an accessible way to experiment with movement, interaction and coding. The challenge is being hosted through the ELECFREAKS community on Discord. Join the ELECFREAKS Discord community.
Spot the Differences and Win a Retro MakeCode Arcade
The second activity shifts the focus from robotics to retro-style gaming. ELECFREAKS has created a classic Spot the Differences challenge featuring two apparently identical Retro MakeCode Arcade consoles. Look more closely, however, and there are three differences hidden between the two images. Participants who successfully identify all three will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a Retro MakeCode Arcade. The prize is especially appropriate for the Back-to-School theme because the Retro MakeCode Arcade combines the immediate appeal of a handheld gaming device with the educational possibilities of Microsoft’s MakeCode environment. Instead of simply playing games, students can explore the principles behind game development and programming, making the device an interesting bridge between entertainment and STEM education. The giveaway is being promoted through ELECFREAKS’ social media channels, including Instagram. ELECFREAKS Instagram.
A Good Time to Start a New STEM Project
The strongest aspect of the ELECFREAKS Back-to-School campaign is that it connects a conventional seasonal discount with the company’s broader emphasis on practical STEM education. For a student encountering coding for the first time, building a robot, programming a small game or experimenting with sensors can make concepts such as variables, conditions, loops and input/output much easier to understand. For more experienced young makers, the same hardware can provide the foundation for considerably more ambitious projects. Parents looking for educational technology and teachers building classroom activities may therefore find the promotion particularly useful, while existing micro and ELECFREAKS users have an opportunity to expand their collection of hardware at a lower cost. With 12% off storewide using code BTC12, alongside opportunities to win a TPBot and Retro MakeCode Arcade, ELECFREAKS has turned its 2026 Back-to-School campaign into more than a simple sale. The promotion runs from August 24 until September 14, 2026, so anyone planning a new robotics, coding or electronics project for the coming school year has a useful window in which to explore the ELECFREAKS ecosystem and save at the same time.
