Installing the dash cam
– Selecting mounting position. Mount the dash cam on either of the recommended positions of front windshield as appropriate: Near the center of rearview mirror / On the front of the passenger seat. Make sure the camera is below the level line of the rearview mirror. Attach the electrostatic sticker on the selected position, with the gap image facing upwards. Press the sticker to remove air bubbles out. Keep windshield clean and dry without liquid residue to prevent the sticker from losing adhesion and dash cam from dropping.
– Installing the dash cam. Paste the dash cam on the electrostatic sticker. Make sure the gap on the adhesive sticker aligns with that on the electrostatic sticker and the display screen faces the car interior.
– Routing cable. Route the power cord to the cigarette lighter and connect to power. Use the included crowbar to hide the power cord underneath the vehicle’s headliner and rubber seal along the A-pillar. Depending on the vehicle, the cigarette lighter socket may be located in a different position. The figure provided is for reference only.
– Adjusting the dash cam angle. Hold the dash cam and turn the dash cam up and down to adjust the dash cam angle based on the preview screen.
– Installing/uninstalling the mount. The mount is pre-installed on the dash cam. If you need to uninstall it, hold the dash cam and screw it clockwise and then the dash cam will separate with the mount. Installing the mount: align the microphone with the big locating point on the right of the mount, and then the dash cam is inserted to the mount. Hold the dash cam and screw counterclockwise until the microphone is aligned with the big locating point on the left of the mount, and then the dash cam is tightened up with the mount.

Turning on
– Connect the cigarette lighter socket and start the vehicle. The cigarette lighter socket will be powered by the vehicle and the dash cam will be turned on automatically.
– When the dash cam is connected to the external power supply and being manually turned off, press the power button to turn it on.
– When the parking surveillance cable is installed, dash cam will automatically turn on when it detects the ACC ON signal on the parking surveillance cable when the vehicle engine turns on.
– If no external power supply is connected, the dash cam will not be turned on.

Turning off
– When the dash cam is turned on, press and hold the power button to turn it off.
– If the dash cam doesn’t respond during the operation, press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to force shut down.
– When the dash cam is connected to the cigarette lighter socket, it will turn off automatically when the vehicle is shut off.
– When the parking surveillance cable is installed, dash cam will automatically turn off when it detects the ACC OFF signal on the parking surveillance cable.

Dash cam will turn off automatically in the following situations:
– Some vehicles still power the cigarette lighter in parking. In such case, if you set auto-off time in dash cam settings, the dash cam will automatically turn off if the vehicle is stopped and in stationary for the certain period of time.
– If the ambient temperature exceeds the discharge temperature limit of the built-in battery, the dash cam will automatically turn off.

Factory resetting
– Press the upper/lower button to enter the quick control panel, select settings and select factory reset.
– Open the 70mai app, tap the icon on the dash cam card, tap Dash cam settings and select factory reset.

Parking guardian mode
Parking guardian mode specializes in the safeguard scenario during parking. To enter this working mode, install the parking surveillance cable beforehand. Enable at least one of the below functions following any of the methods below, and then dash cam will enter the parking guardian mode once it detects the ACC OFF signal on the parking surveillance cable.
– In the 70mai app, tap the icon on the dash cam card and tap Dash cam settings. Find Collision detection/Motion detection/Time-lapse photography and enable the function.
– Press the upper/lower button to enter the quick control panel, select Collision detection/Motion detection/Time-lapse photography and enable the function.
– When successfully bound with 4G module, enable Collision detection/Motion detection/Time-lapse photography function in the Remote control page.

Collision detection
When the vehicle engine turns off, dash cam is in standby mode. When the build-in gravity sensor detects collision, dash cam will identify the direction, whether the collision happens in the front or the rear of the vehicle, and then turn the tripod head to that position and record a 30-second parking surveillance video. If dash cam couldn’t identify the collision direction, the tripod head will rotate a whole circle and record, trying to catch the image of the suspicious object.

Updating the dash cam firmware
– Open the 70mai app, find the dash cam card and tap the icon .
– If there is available update of the firmware, a small red dot displays next to Firmware update. Tap to enter the downloading page.
– Download the new firmware version following the onscreen instructions. Make sure your phone is connect with Internet during the downloading.
– After the download is completed, return to the dash cam card and enter the dash cam homepage.
– In the dash cam homepage, a prompt “Available update package detected. Push it to the Dash Cam?” will display. Tap Push and follow the instructions on the screen to fulfill the update.
– After the update is completed, the dash cam will restart automatically and then you can use it with the latest firmware version.
Note: The dash cam should be connected to an external power supply during the update.

Power button
– Press the power button to turn on the dash cam (Dash cam should be connected with external power source).
– Press and hold the power button to turn off the dash cam.
– Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to force shutdown.
– In the power-on status, press the power button to turn off/light up the screen.
– Press on other pages to select and confirm.

Upper button
– Press on the home screen to switch to the bottom of the quick control panel.
– Press on other pages to switch to the previous option.

Lower button
– Press on the home screen to switch to the head of the quick control panel.
– Press on other pages to switch to the next option.

Notes
– The Parking Surveillance Mode can only be activated by installing the 70mai Hardwire Kit. The hardwire kit draws power from the car battery, enabling the dash cam to record videos during parking surveillance mode.
– Omni isn’t compatible with a rear camera, but it records 360° via rotation, so it’s able to capture motions / collisions happening behind your car or on both sides.
– 1 minute video is about 180 MB in size.
– Omni needs to bind with 70mai application before you can use it.

70mai Android application
70mai pp is a mobile phone software used with 70mai Smart Dash Cam. After connected to 70mai Dash Cam smart Wi-Fi access, you can get real-time image preview of your dash cam. You can also view historical images and even download important images / video to your mobile phone. This process is very simple and does not use the SIM card. Before binding, make sure you’ve installed the latest version of the 70mai app and your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.

– Turn on the dash cam.
– Open the 70mai app and log in your 70mai account. In the Device page, tap icon .
– Wait for the Bluetooth scanning result and then select the dash cam Wi-Fi hotspot name. Or tap the correct dash cam image and then find dash cam Wi-Fi hotspot name in the searched result list.
– Complete the authorization following the voice prompts. When successfully added, the dash cam card displays on the app homepage.
