Meet OBSBOT ORB-2205-CT Smart Remote Controller
Meet our cutting-edge remote controller, exclusively designed for OBSBOT Tail Air. Pocket-sized, it features a playful joystick-style Gimbal Control button and an even more intuitive feature – Motion Control. Now, you can effortlessly control OBSBOT Tail Air’s gimbal with a simple wrist movement.
This smart remote controller can wirelessly connect to the OBSBOT Tail Air and execute various actions and features without requiring an application, making it much easier to integrate into your livestream workflow. Equipped with a built-in gyroscope, this smart remote controller can recognize the motion of your hand and move the Tail Air’s gimbal accordingly to whereever you want it to be.
With an inserted laser emitter, press twice the button to deliver a laser signal, the Tail Air will follow and make a close-up of the detected target or area.
Step 1: Charge the Remote Controller
– Before using the remote controller, make sure it is fully charged. Connect the included USB-C cable to the remote controller and a power source. The LED indicator on the remote controller will turn blue when charging and turn off when fully charged.
– After charging, move down the lock button to unlock and activate your controller.
Step 2: Connect the Remote Controller to Your Device
– To connect the remote controller to your Tail Air device, turn on your Tail Air, press three times the power button of the device, and the indicator light will start flashing.
– In the meanwhile, press the 【Human Tracking】button and the 【Select Camera】button at the same time, and the LED indicator on the controller will flash either.
Note: 【Select Camera】have 3 buttons, which means that up to 3 cameras can be matched, if you want to connect another device, press another number of【Select Camera】button to set it as your second or third device.
– Once the connection is finished, the corresponding【Select Camera】will light up and be white color.
– Click the 【Select Camera】button and the clicked one will turn green, which means you’re controlling the following Tail Air device.
Step 3: Use the Remote Controller
Once the remote controller is charged, and connected, you’re ready to start using it! Use the smart remote controller to control the movement of the OBSBOT Tail Air and explore more possibilities with it.

10. Laser button Single click: laser; double click: execute / cancel AI mode.
11. Select/Cancel animal tracking
12. Preset position 1/2/3 Single click: trigger preset position; long press: add preset position
13. Remote control sleep/wake toggle button
14. Camera switch 1/2/3 Single click: control camera (green light); double click: output camera video stream (red light).

Remote lights
White light – Tail Air connected
Red light – Camera output in progress
Green light – Current remote control can control the camera
Light off – Tail Air not connected
If output and control are on the same device, the red light will remain on.
