Meet Ugoos X4 Pro Android 11 TV Box
Ugoos X4 Pro is a middle-price device with a well-known Amlogic S905x4 SoC, it may be a very good companion for any digital task including media playback with AV1 video codec support. X4 is a new generation of two previous best-selling series devices: X2 and X3. The outside design takes just minor changes, for instance: all X4 comes with more common and suitable USB Type – C power adapters. X4 gets WIFI MIMO Technology support, like more expensive models for more stable connection. TV Box now has in-built IR reciever in addition to wired IR reciever extender.
For connectivity, the Ugoos X4 Pro box contains 2.4GHz / 5GHz WIFI IEEE 802.11 b / g / n / ac dual-band with powerful external antenna, for faster data transmission and better streaming experience. It also comes with a feature that is missing in a lot of other TV dongles or TV ,which is a 1000Mb LAN, that is more reliable than WI-FI and provides even better data transmission. The Ugoos X4 Pro TV box equipped with the Android 11, offers you a more efficient, safer operation, better compatibility of the latest applications, so better user experience, and the OS is pre-rooted to access more permission and install applications that require root activation with the possibility to switch enable/disable.
The device ships with an English User Manual, a power adapter, a short HDMI cable, an IR remote controller, and a extension cable with IR receiver. But what could be the most interesting with this device are the extra Ugoos settings in the firmware.
– Root Service – Enable/disable root access which can be useful as some apps require a system without root, while others won’t work with root. The user can easily turn off or turn on the root of the device.

Android 11 firmware
The device came with Android 11 firmware version 1.0.0 and once connected to WiFi network it upgraded successivelly to v1.0.2, v1.0.3, v1.0.4 and to v1.0.5, the latest one. Over the air updates, very easy any without any problems. So many updates in such a short period of time show the manufacturer’s concern for its customers.
