The Xiaomi Yeelight JIAOYUE YLXD05YL arrives in a nice cardboard box with the company logo and name on the top. Behind the box, you can find the basic specification of the device. All the specifications of the device are written in Chinese, so will not be of much help. In general, the product is well packed, and there was no problem regarding the transportation and shipping of the device. The size of the box measures to be around 54.00 x 52.80 x 10.50 cm and weighing about 2.95 kg. To protect the light from possible damage during transport, the device comes with the protection of polystyrene foam. The protection is installed on the sides and ceiling of the box.
The Xiaomi Yeelight JIAOYUE YLXD05YL 480 LED Ceiling Light has a fairly simple circular design, a key feature when it comes to the Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi. It is available in a single color, white, which adapts wonderfully to any environment. It has dimensions of 48.00 x 48.00 x 8.00 cm / 18.9 x 18.9 x 3.15 inches and a weight of 3.2000 kg, so it is light and easy to move. The Xiaomi Yeelight JIAOYUE YLXD05YL remote comes in a minimalist design. It arrives in the same cardboard box packed in a plastic bag. The remote controller gets its power from a single element CR2025 cell, which comes with the remote. You can use the remote to turn on/off the lamp, adjust the temperature of the light, change the brightness, turn the day/night modes. For connecting the remote with the lamp, you have to hold down the “M” + “OFF” buttons on the remote when the light is turned on. Xiaomi Yeelight Lamp is smart and easy to use. You can even control it with your phone. It will certainly bring you brand new experiences with lights.

– Phone control. You could connect your phone to apllication with Bluetooth 4.0 to set brightness, color, color tempreture as well as color flow with 16M colors. It will bring you totally different experiences!
The following exciting scenes functions in these ways:
Sunrise – sunrise impression (evenly enhancing brightness for 15 minutes, can work as an alarm clock).
Sunset – sunset (steady drop in brightness for 10 minutes).
Night Mode – night mode.

– You can also provide access to the lamp for other Xiaomi users.
– Change the on/off timer.
– Installation of scenarios for working with other devices of the Xiaomi smart home.
– You can also enable the automatic shutdown of the lamp and the time delay.
– For turning on the “Nightlight” mode, and setting the time interval for its working.
– While in the “default state”, the option to turn on the default setting or the last used mode is selected when the lamp is turned on from the physical switch.

How to bind remote?
Please keep remote and Yeelight Ceiling Light in same room. Power on Yeelight Ceiling Light, then press “OFF” and “M” button on remote at the same time, while the indicator start blinking indicate remote start binding to Yeelight Ceiling Light. Yeelight Ceiling Light will blink to indicate binding complete.
Make sure remove the insulation sheet from battery cabin. Make sure bind your remote in one minute after Ceiling Light electrified. Upon failure, please electrify your Ceiling Light again and retry the operation mentioned above.
