Ovevo Company just send me these days a gadget to play with: Ovevo Z1 Fantasy Pro Bluetooth Speaker.
The package includes the Ovevo Z1, a charging USB cable, audio cable, English User Guide & stamp with QR Code for downloading the ABC Smart application.
The Fantasy Pro Z1 is sort of a hybrid Bluetooth speaker and LED lamp that comes in a unique triangular design with rounded corners, which the company chose to make the device safer for children. It measures 67.5 x 65 x 63mm and weighs only 190 grams.
The Z1 comes with its own slew of interesting features such as a capacitive touch area on top which lets the user switch the lamp’s color, brightness level, and scenes. Users can also pair the Z1 with their smartphones and use a downloadable app that’s available for both iOS and Android to easily change the speaker’s scenes and colors. The LED lamp’s color can be changed to one of 16 million available colors, three different warm light modes, between 2800k-6400k color temperatures, and a number of brightness level.
The speaker is powered by a 40mm 6W acoustic drivers with a signal-to-noise ratio of >90dB. It supports wireless frequencies between 2.4GHz to 2.48GHz as well as HSP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP wireless protocols through Bluetooth 4.0 which has a transmission range of up to 10 meters. It has a battery life of up to 8 hours and can be charged in only 2.5 hours.
For Bluetooth pairing, play song from Bluetooth enabled devices. Press and hold the center button fir 3 seconds to turn on the speaker and enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator flashing with blue light). In your phone, search for “Z1” in your Bluetooth devices list, select and pair it with the speaker. Long press the previous song button to dim, until the darkest. Touch the top metal of the speaker and blue, green, rainbow, red and lights out change in turn.
